This video is great and I’m going to try this in the morning. I have a vendetta and stick servo stock esc. S6200a receiver. I upgraded the steering hardware to all alloy, for looks mostly. Since then, It seems like the servo was out of whack. It would turn all the way left normally, but then try and go right and it’ll either barely move, or if it does move, it does it slow and only does not even a half turn. I kept trying to figure it out, even removed the servo and repositioned the servo saver hoping to get more leverage. Now, the servo doesent even move. At all. It doesent even respond. The receiver flashes showing my signal is reaching the receiver, but the servo seems dead. I then moved the arm with my hand and I don’t hear any gears crunching or clicks. It sounds healthy like it should. It just don’t friggin work all of a sudden. I know one part of this issue is I must’ve messed up something when I converted the steering and second, I watched a soektrum / horizon hobby tutorial on how to disable AVC. Click receiver 3 times then long press the 4th time. Then turn on remote while holding bind and it blinks three times. Supposedly disabling aVC. No matter what your dx3 is set at. Since I did that. I have had a slew of issues. I’m going crazy trying to figure it out. 😢. It also had issues just connecting. It also won’t calibrate like normal. It use to be you hold stand power. Then it blinks and beeps and then you press set key at neutral. Then full throttle. 2 beeps. Hold and press set key. Then 3 beeps. Reverse. Hold position. Then press set key. Now, I don’t even have to press the set key. I just do the motions and it goes thru like it worked. Again. Steering got messed up somehow and if you know anything about the Bluetooth dashboard? It use to literally tell my speed MPH. Dead on. Now? I’m going over 70-80 mph. It’ll show 33-35moh?! The hell!

Great idea to tighten the servo. I was curious why you have the servo in the truck like that does it help it steer. I’ve always kept mine stock with the gear drive towards the middle of the truck.

Honestly that was a mistake... lol. I corrected it after another viewer caught it. I have since put a different servo in it but I haven't been able to try it out yet. Thanks for watching!

I have to try this. I been out of the hobby for about 2 yrs bc my kraton is not turning right anymore. I have to slow it down to try and make those sharp turns. And impossible to do doughnuts. I hope this helps bc I'm wanting to get back into the hobby.

Hope this fixes mine, my steering servo was binding, like it was rubbing, then it loosened up a little with the wheels off the ground, still won’t steer on the ground. Thanks, I’ll try it.

No problem. Take the front wheels off and check those ball joints. I had to loosen mine. Thanks for watching!

B&C Ultimate RC nope, turned it counterclockwise a little, didn’t help, can’t get it to turn the other way. The screw on the bottom of the chassis (servo saver side) won’t unthread, just turns and turns and turns. Arrmas are are pain in the ass to work on. 🤬 junk

@@jessejames2546 wow that sucks. I hope you get it straight. It's a great vehicle once it's adjusted but I understand your frustration.

B&C Ultimate RC got it brother, mine was so loose that it was binding on the chassis plate, totally limited all steering, took off the servo in the mount, went up like 5mm, all good. 👌🏻

I HAVE A HUGE TIP: for me it’s the opposite I have to apply the break to start the starting calibration I thought it was never going to work till I did it backwards on accident and it worked also I messed with the servo saver and it didn’t help. at first stearing is fast but it gets slower and slower every turn and almost no stearing sitting still on the ground

@@BCUltimateRC well i have the arrma outcast i tried your way but I turned to the left for the endpoints. I think servo is going bad because its making noise?
@jakesrc35835 жыл бұрын
Also it cant adjusted to the left for steering
@BCUltimateRC5 жыл бұрын
If it's making noise either the endpoints aren't set correctly, the steering too tight or yes the servo could be bad. Also take your front wheels off and make sure the steering knuckles aren't too tight. You may have to loosen them some. Make sure you can wiggle them a little
