Don’t get me wrong that tower to tower super tough but if you take a hard Noser or tail landing with the stock chassis and that carbon fiber tower to tower, there’s a possibility it will shatter I took a lot of hits with it before I did break one it’s just up to your style of bashing.

And you might not even have a problem. A lot of guys run that tower in tower with a stock chassis and they’re good. I love her parts takes so much weight off of the RC.

I moved my battery tray back and i didn't like the way it handled. it would oversteer too much! i moved it backed much more stable. i think the factory got it right!

Yeah, it’s definitely not for everybody but if you’re jumping your car, you don’t want that battery tray upfront it’ll make the rc nose down every jump but that’s what’s nice about this hobby. Everybody can set their cars up differently and be happy✌️👍

I run the EXB diffs, in all my arrma 6S rigs, and as long as they’re assembled properly, you shouldn’t have any problems at least I don’t

Ovonic is a good battery brand I used that on my 1/16 , 1/14 , & 1/8th scales

Huge fan! Can I ask why you suggest sticking with the stock tower to tower brace with the stock chassis? I was about to install basherqueens but I also have a new m2c chassis in the mail so might have to do a second build all together. Haha please let me know thanks in advance

On the stock chassis, it will flex to the point where you’ll break basherqueen tower to tower on a very hard impact. It won’t survive it might, but it did not for me, but with an M2C chassis you won’t have that problem you can run her tower to tower

I tried to move the battery tray back but the wires, even removing the wire hold down, wouldn't reach. I think it was the esc wire. Maybe the new braces you put in are shaped different where it meets the chassis, but the stock one won't let it go that far unless I missed something. But I don't fly as high as you or others do so I just treat it like the Typhon 6s. Not full throttle I'll I hit the ramp so it doesn't buck up. Also with a change of tires might help. I put the Mojave fortress tires on the Typhon to get more air control and more cushion. Are you still running stock diff weight? F/C/R? Tyia

50,000 front and rear 1 million center that don’t make sense about the battery tray not moving back. I didn’t have a problem with it and I did it when it was in stock form. I know a few other people that recently did it as well. might have to reroute the wires.🤷‍♂️

Thanks man appreciate it bro. I run the HRB’s 4000mah 60c on 8S and they fit in those Lipo trays. You can get a 4200 HRB to fit. It’s just tight if you want a little bit more battery.

Yeah, I didn’t have a problem with the stock chassis I just like to upgrade. I’ve bent my share of K6 chassis but never the fire team but I did not run it very long like that maybe three sessions and then It was upgraded but I don’t think a lot of guys are going to be sending them like that, but if so, that stock chassis won’t last long. I'm not ready to upgrade the chassis but when I do is it better to get the m2c or the exb? I know the m2c is stronger but also heavier and this is all ready a pretty heavy vehicle. Don't plan on sending mine to the sun like you do.

It’s OK I’ve got a half a dozen of them but I really don’t run them anymore ever since basherqueen made the servo saver for the stock steering rack the Vitavon one has clearance issues if you’re running aluminum bulkheads even if you run vitavon there’s still a clearance issue

Amazon, you can buy bolt kits I buy all different kinds usually 12.9 hardware or stainless. My motor mount screws are stainless I believe the bolts that hold the slide on to the mount are M4 x 20.

Yes it does get a bit hot if I push the run over 10 minutes but I run small Lipos 4000 Mah 80 C so my runs are short anyway typically around the eight minute mark if I push the car extremely hard I’ll be around 180 maybe 190 at the end of the run I ran the car yesterday we had cooler temperatures 60° And the truck stayed around 150 the entire run. You really have to watch your tips with that kind of gearing. I would say between an 18 and a 20t you would be great. The truck would still have plenty of power with that set up. It just won’t be so aggressive on its flipping. Hope I answered that OK and that’s what you were looking for. Sorry for the novel it’s early in the morning.

RC cars is a very strange hobby. I have quite a few cars and I love them all I upgrade some. I add different wheels to some but I by no means bash any of them. I have fun with mine and I take good care of them some of my friends get upset with me because I don’t thrash my cars like they see people do and some videos but they never contribute to the cost of my cars or any of my parts so I tell them where they can step off. Anyway, you have fun your way and I’ll have fun my way.

But with Proline Trenchers, Duratrax Hatchet X wheels and tires, original green shell, Proline brute body, upgraded servo, Robinson Racing pinion, Hot Racing Spur.and Hot Racing upper gear cover. $500. Also being disabled and not 50 yet, get difficult to take out to different places If not staying on my side lot about as long as your running area to about the house in the background.. ok. Back to the vid. Just felt like I watched it due to your closing comments first. Lol

@@AldoLoyal ya sorry about that but when you spend that kinda $ on a brand new one to be a big kid, you figure if they're gonna put the 8s moniker on it, make sure you do what arrma did and make it able to take 8s without stripping everything. I don't bash and maybe get 3- ft of air straight and the Xmaxx has given me more problems than the other 8 combined. I was saying I am running it on 6s not 8s anymore as those batteries had cells go bad 2 months after warranty. and now having to hunt down another grinding in reverse and braking not forward.and that's on 6S. It's on the table now. But think my shaft is bent or bad bearing in the front bulkhead. My bad I'll keep it short from now on. 👍
