Arrma Fireteam EXB Gets Deployed for Big Air and Evasive Maneuvers at the Motocross Track!

After exploding the rear bulkhead, The Fireteam sat in the healing bin for a while as other rigs needed TLC as well. I was wanting to finally veer away from stock parts and upgrade to an aluminum unit. Money didn't dictate it as a need so I just ended up putting another plastic unit in. Fast forward a month or so and she's back for more launches! I can't say enough good things about the Fireteam! It is truly a joy to drive in any condition. The abuse it has taken is unreal!!

Thanks!! I'm deff. lucky to have the track be on state land. A local club maintains it, when It's not open to bikes it's fair game! Do you have any sort of motocross track or BMX pump track perhaps?

Another option is gravel pits, or construction sites just after they clear and before they start moving stuff in. Sometimes you gotta get creative haha

Haha thanks man! The motocross track is my home away from home and when it's smooth it's truly a dream! Fireteam and the Outcast 8s deff are the top dogs there but I can't wait to set the Big Rock 6s loose there! Next summer I'm going to put work in shaping the jumps so they hit better. Just showing up and ripping only works so good, so often. Glad you like the stuff man, more to come! I need to check out your plow you are working on I caught a few glimpses but just been so busy lately.

Me as a noob in rc cars but looking to get in to it... is this what the arrma fireteam can do just stock out of the box?? 😮

Yes that's stock outta the box performance. It isn't stock though as it has some EXB parts from various trucks added for durability. My goal was to beef it up without adding any unneeded weight. As time has gone on, some plastic bits and bobs have broke but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a crazy fun truck for sure, it's top 2 between this and the Outcast 8s ECB. Do you have any cars yet? or just starting out 100% new to owning one?

No i don't have any rc cars yet, so i'm looking for somerhing to start with, but there are so many video's and brands & type of cars... i'm flying with planes and heli's for a couple of years now. I'm not an expert but like to do that every now and then, and when i was a kid i had an rc car wichi totalled in i think a couple of weeks hahaha, but everything was expensive back in the days. (Not that i'm old now 😆) now i would like to have a car, for beeing on the ground aswel. Like to have a crawler maybe, but something like this - some speed and rough terrain - looks great aswel. I dont think i wanna bash and jump it that much.... i think... What would you recomend

@@DRONEALD I started RC with crawlers, as I come from an off road background. I've always wanted to build and drive a rock crawler so I made mini versions of my dream trucks etc. That was about 5 years ago, lots has changed for the crawling world. The mini crawlers are getting really good, both in scale appearance and capibilities. The biggest factor in the best suited rc is where you intend to run it. The small 1/24 and 1/18 stuff get along just fine indoors. The 1/10 stuff does best outside. Do you have places to go crawl? Trail trucks are popular and fun just more for cruising if you don't have tech. stuff to play on. Depending on that, I could give a little more suggestions and /or info. 🙃

@@StraitJacketRC in don't really know about trail trucks, will look it up. Nah, nearby i live are no mountains or special rock crawlee options i think. There are a couple of small streams and a little forest, but most agricultural land, besides that the Netherlands is pretty flat 😂 so maybe is a crawler not ideal, but the details seem very nice and ofvourse you could go on a sandy riverbed or along the forest track or sandy dunes perhaps. But about the speed and apperantly toughness like an arrma mojave or fireteam looks interesting aswel. Thing is, there are more than a douzen things what looks cool haha. But theres a decision to be made 😆 but ill look up the trail teucks what you mean.

the fireteam is such a good car, ive only had issues with the diff and i havent broken anything else, did you get yours when they had that massive sale too?

Sort of. This one was a scratch and dent sale rig I got last year. I also got another during the sale. It is still new, set off to the side for a future project. I toss EXB parts at it and haven’t had any real issues. Such a blast to drive!

@@StraitJacketRC thats good! ever since i broke a pin in the diff ive been having all sorts of problems, but found out it was the outer diff cover making it chew gears

@@_fiziizif_5301 yea the plastic has held up to a bit of abuse but once I started going bigger the plastic doesn’t hold up. I wanted to switch to Aluminum but I had a replacement handy and wanted to get it back running. Thanks for watching!
