PROLINE badlands mx57. And lots of LOVE😂. On a serious note this is an awesome truck. It really doesn't need a lot of upgrades. But for me that's what this hobby is all about. I love to upgrade and try to make them better. I also love pushing things to their limits no matter the consequences.

Thanks man I really appreciate that. It is an awesome truck. I just took it off the shelf the other day and started getting it put back together that last run. I pulled the power lead out of the ESC so I’m trying to solder that if it doesn’t hold I got a new one for it. And that’s the only way to be brother. AWESOME K8s overview Brother 😱. What a complete Beast 😍. Still haven't mounted up my Vitavon bulkheads yet, but they're going on soon. Been sitting on the shelf for months. The 2nd gen Badlands look very nice Brother 👀. MX43's are just too heavy. Gonna have to give the 57''s a try. Nice to see Proline offering lighter options these days 😍. The 980 Hobbystar Max5 combo is fantastic 👌. More guys will come to understand this with experience. 32/39 is better with bigger wheels. Still fast AF, but temps are safer in summer weather. How did you attach the rod ends to the carbon fiber bar? I keep breaking the 4mm center brace connector on my v1 Kraton 4s and need an upgrade for the center brace.

Thanks bro I’m glad you enjoy that the front tower supports still have the stock rod in the center I just sleeved it with the carbon fiber the ones in the back I Apoxsee the the nut inside the carbon fiber and just screwed the tips in the back don’t take much of a hit the front ones that usually get damaged and bent

Awesome set up on that bro. Yeah I think best tires are still the blackflips from arrma. Just cause the are lighter so I don't break much just the rear links when I land on a tire. Masher X are awesome belted tires and for bashing. Just not good air control lol but enough control so you won't land bad. @@AldoLoyal yeah exactly depends on the driving conditions for sure. I did a few speeds runs with my outcast 8S and those tires are amazing on the street. Yup short wheel base I pulled up a few wheelie no problem. But yeah they grip alot better in the grass and wet or damp dirt is best for them far as traction. Sandy dirt they suck lol but still fun to rip around. Wow here in NJ it's been beautiful pass few days. We have the dirty jersey bash coming up this Saturday. Il probably go live so people can see for alittle bit.

The spur gear comes with the EXB’s but if not, you can order a 39 t spur and as long as you gear correctly the ic5 will be fine it’s just when you start pulling a lot of amps That’s when you’re going to have issues with the ic5 just make sure you have good connections. Hey man, thanks for going over this build. Crazy truck, crazy strong truck. I have two questions. What do you do with your diffs? Fluid? Gears? Anything else? I keep having problems with my rear diff. My second question is why you went back to the Castle 2028 800 in your other “big air” video. You say you didn’t like them here but you sure seemed to have great luck with it in the other video. What changed? I run the 800kv with an XLX2 but thinking of going to 12S with a Max5 (if Castle doesn’t come out with a 12S ESC first) but I want to make sure I have the truck as set up and reliable as possible before I up the power. The rear diff has been a constant problem for me. Thanks for everything and keep on bashing the big rigs!

Hey man, thank you appreciate the time I change my mind quite a lot on motors, but I always go back to the castle 800. It seems to be the best reliable motor out there I’ve burnt up every other motor I’ve ever tried the only two that I have not managed to burn up is the 800 KV castle or a TP motor hobbywing hobbystar I’ve smoked plenty of those if you’re going 12s I would recommend the 800 KV castle. on the rear diff you can get the Vitavon gears but honestly I hardly ever have a problem with mine, if you shim them correctly And don’t get stupid on the diff oil Keep it at 500,000 or less in the rear. hope this helps 💪👍👊👊

That’s totally up to you on what you’re gonna do with the truck if you want something simple just bolt right in and go one of the hobbystar or hobbywing motors will work. Castle makes a pretty good motor as well, but I would recommend changing the ESC as well if you go with a castle.

I’m not too sure on a hobby star but a 4276 is about all you’re going to get in there in the stock location I did get a 42 82 in there but I had to chop up the center Diff mount

No worries man about 100 g roughly the mx57 are pretty light for the size but to be honest, I’ve been running a lot of different tires lately and the Arrma 8S backflips are the best they’re lighter, more forgiving on big air jumps, and I have never broke a rim on those but the MX57 i have broke a couple rims and I think some other guys have even broke the hub hope this is what you’re looking for my friend.
