The 6s V5 Kraton was my first big twuck. Put on a better front and back bumper , stronger chassis braces , steering servo and upgraded the front end pivot balls , run in the droop screws , haven't had any problems with the dogbone coming out , but again , too expensive to " send ". I did have the opportunity to once. Scott Johnson lives up the street from me , met him at the park and he let me use the ramp. Needless to say I was scared. She took it like a champ. Very much appreciated for him , Just fiddling RC. I very much appreciate everything you do as well as Earl for the experience y'all have over the years. Learning ALOT from y'all. Thank you again and very much appreciated.

I don't think that there is anything inherently wrong with the Kraton, I think like many RC's it's designed for certain kinds of terrain, and that's mostly flat, decently groomed dirt, grass or pavement, not really a basher for anything bumpy, Rocky etc. Nothing wrong with that. It's just kind of limiting but it runs great on the proper surfaces. Where you were there at the school is what I would consider the exact stuff it was designed for. Diamond dust not so much unless you stay on the smooth stuff, the clearances are just too low. But it did look fun! Great video brother and congrats again on your accomplishment! 💯🤜🤛

Just got the Kraton 4s v2 blx a month ago. Loved it. Now got the Kraton S6 v5 coming tomorrow in red. I can't say enough about mine. Haven't had any issues or break yet. And I'm launching it off a quarter pipe doing flips and huge air daily. I'm shocked nothing has broken 😅

Congrats on hitting 20k, you deserve it and should have been there long ago. As for the Kraton, I think when you first got it, the power and handling were a bit too touchy for where your driving skills were. Now that your control has vastly improved, you are now capable of taming that beast, hense enjoying it finally. I remember a when that little jump at Diamond Dust would have ended with you landing in the loaders bucket, breaking everything 🤣 Congrats again and keep the videos coming. 👍 🤜🤛

Yep, just went though this with a new Hobbywing ESC. On one hand it was nice to not have to buy a card, but a pain in the butt cylcling through all the options and menus with a single button 😮. Car runs great now tho 👍 As for the Kraton.. it's ok but not my cup o tea

Guy .The programmer problems are all part of the movement towards Bluetooth Esc settings.I think I may just re- learn the Esc morse code thing ,so I can just get out and enjoy a good time without my brain being programmed to worry about bashing a sweet RC without all the necessary wiffy connections, satellites and failures of such Systems.I mean , surely it's all about the Joy.✌️

I should have bought the exb roller when it was available but you couldn’t beat the rtr 550 price tag at the time. Remove the washers on the arms and it should help out with the driveshafts popping out, there are videos out there about this. Overtime I have replaced all the spektrum electronics, replaced a lot of diffs and bulkheads, threw on rpm arms, and hot racing steering knuckles which helped a lot with the slop. Check your pivot balls to make sure they aren’t backing out and put a lot of loctite on all the steering pivot balls since they would always loosen up on me when I’m bashing. Even with all of the damage that has been done to my wallet, I still love this thing. The handling and fun factor when this rig is working is through the roof. Great video too guy!👍

Once ur at which ever variable hold the set button down for 2 seconds and then once u pick where u want to adjust hold the set button down for 5 seconds and it will give u a beep.

This can be an awesome rig if the minor issues are addressed. With a few upgrades and some tuning it can be even better. But then if you really want some smiles for miles, XL it. For about 60$ you can stretch that sucker out! I’m almost sure you’d love it.🤙🏽

The 6s v5 is not so bad, but i had 2 some problemos. Bearings exploded, tires came loose and more….. nothing you expect considering the price…. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Took alot of upgrades and turtle rc innovations to make my kraton un breakable minus the a arms. I recommend RPM a arms. Yes they still break but RPM has a lifetime warranty. Ya know

I borrowed one of the v5's off a friend just to see is it for me.... And well..... Between the front drive shaft coming out and litterily any kind of knock on the front wheels popping out the lower piller balls I decided it wasn't for me yeah you can probably ajust the droop and add fuel tubing to the front shocks etc and upgrade the piller balls carrier to aluminium but i personally don't buy rc's to have to start all that. Ill just put my money into something more reliable like that new 2.5 4s outcast, now it looks awesome.

I put 3 snap rings under my servo saver spring on my v5 and it fixed the problem but also a savix monster servo amd as far as driveshafts I went full M2C everything my v5 is a m2c billboard if m2c makes it its on Mt v5 and now I can say it's super strong as put a castle mmx8s with a 1717 1650kv with 19t pinion factory spur but now she is a monster and the tires blew very quick had to go to proline mx38s they have held up

I won't lie I like the kraton but ever since V3 they seem to have been cutting corners to offer small new things that aren't really new after market coverd most of the V5 upgrades before it was box standard and in most cases better and stronger, but at the same time Arrma is truly trying to give us more at a good price point so yeah I still like Arrma not a fan boy but can't say I don't own a few of their rigs, 3s line I love, got a 6s Mojave, typhoon, kraton v3 aftermarket upgrades they certainly make a good product. Just like everyone else though they need to figure out QC
