Arrma Senton 4X4 BLX 223S overview and speed run!

My uncle wanted to get into the hobby so he asked me to hunt around and get him a good RC to start out with. This is the one I picked. He brought it over last night and I showed him how to charge and store the batteries. He had a blast driving it around my driveway lol This truck really does handle well out of the box and has a lot of nice upgrades comparing it to their older models. Arrma nailed it with this one and I am very glad I picked this one out for him.

I do like the new design but , its top heavy and i swapped electronics for a Hobbywing 4s combo and took the center diff out . Installed that into my typhon 3s and metal slipper in the Senton .

They dropped pinion from 20t to 16t. It probably explains why these are not hitting 50mph anymore.

Top “box” speed is always with a bigger pinion.

Incorrect, these new models dont include a speed pinion. These speeds are out of the box.

@Nashvillenorthrc On these new BLX cars, they don't come with a speed pinion. This is supposed to be the "true", put a battery in and that's what it does speed.

They don’t come with it but RTRs rarely hit advertised speeds stock. Few if any do without a larger pinion, regardless if included. Most are overrated in terms of speed.
