Finding pinion gears can be difficult. Thanks for coving everything so well. Awesome setup.

What’s the benefits of using the 2 in 1 system, just space? And if space is no issue wouldn’t it be better to use a separate esc ?
@TestDriverRC11 сағат бұрын
@@mattmonster0503 It saves space, combined units make it a lot simpler for install also. But yes I agree a separate system would be a better option in case one of the 2 units fail you can replace just that one. Plus the esc usually comes with its own cooling fan. ARRMA TYPHON GROM is very limited with space under that body

Hi buddy fantastic video I'm doing my brushless up upgrades had I speak. So what do I need I've got a 2835 2600kv brushless motor 3.175mm shaft and is it 18t 48dp or can I go higher on pinion. I tried putting the stock motor mount in with brushless motor and it's to far away that's on 20t I haven't tried 18t yet but it's a nightmare 😢😊😮

@@Moggmodels23 you’ll want the mesh to be as close as possible so I recommend a aftermarket motor mount And proper cooling. Make sure your pinion is a .5 mod so it’ll work perfectly with your spur

@TestDriverRC I've got the 22t or 20t 48dp pinion gear on a motor shaft 3.175mm if that's OK I bought a 40a esc which can run 3s but it's a flat esc on xt60
@TestDriverRC2 күн бұрын
@@Moggmodels23 that sound like a Great Setup 👍 40a should get a bit warm on 3s so make sure to have a fan. I’d go with the 22t for better speed, the car will have great acceleration with that motor! 👏

You know like I did, buy cheap brushless 2440 or 2638 lowish kv motor and get hobbywing 30a brushless esc which is direct fit with stock grom mounts and pinions
