There are 2 apps for the GNSS If yours reads wrong then try to other app. One is power hobby the other is the "original " sky rc app. Mine did the same and swapping apps fixed it.

This was neither boss you can also change parameters for instance I can change it to only go up to 200 mph max I could go hit 135 mph and gnss will show 200 mph pretty sad not sure what to think .

@@flopackrc5452 What do you mean it was neither?? what are you using to read it then?? and showing how something doesn't work, doesn't mean it doesn't work properly with the right software does it?? are you saying you were using this parameter change app? Just trying to understand what you were trying to show? what app were you using for the GNSS display? you suggested kinda new fresh from packet which would suggest using the OG app to run it? or were you trying to just show that you 'CAN' fake it? thats a different think to it not working. Keep up the good content

Came to say the same thing. I had the wrong app at first. Said my stock XMaxx was going 126mph. Switched to the right app and had it at 42mph. Simply user error.

@@iwantblue491 I was just show that if someone with low class wanted to cheat they could easily .I'll make a video on how they can do it ..it's an app that you could put in max speed 200 mph then simply run 130 150 etc and it would show 200 mph . I think alot of numbers are false with it.. now with skyrc app it was dead accurate with both my garmins .. but unfortunately we have clout chasers in this game that look for fame

What size gears did you use, I’m going to order some from saga, I got 104 my personal best last night and I need to go faster, and you ain’t kidding about the flips, mine must have done 3 flips and landed on all 4 wheels at 86 mph crazy, that was an awesomely smooth run, and there are always haters man they just suck, thanks great video.👍🏻💯👌

I have only done a few small speed runs but mainly use my GNSS for drag racing and I personally have not had any issues probably over a thousand runs with the drag car. That being said I'm wondering if certain frequencies used by range extenders maybe interfering with the GNSS?. I know the GNSS does not like solar panels It has a hard time connecting at one of our drag race spots that the whole metal roof is covered with solar panels and it takes quite a bit of time to connect. I think the GNSS is a great tool however I think they may be using a subpar antenna. Just my thoughts

It's a hack you can do with gnss you can also change parameters .like max speed 200 mph but it reads wrong so if I run 130 it may show 200 mph I'm gonna try it in drag see of I can change time to 1.2 sec go out with slow car and test it

@@flopackrc5452 I would also say it's a matter of Integrity. A shame if some people would go as far to deceive there viewers. Sounds like fake news media. I love watching speed runs but now who can you trust to be honest. I have contacted SkyRC about this and waiting on a reply. This diminishes the value of the product and may void a lot of speed runners PB's including mines. Though I never tampered with my GNSS. The thing is now how can you prove you haven't. Only reliable speed tracking is speed traps that are calibrated I'm. Garmin's are slow but I haven't seen no one hack it. Probably can to. I'm not out for world records but this does disappoint when you just want to see how fast your car goes without spending $1000's for resources. It is what it is.

Nice body on the Vendetta and very well done keeping it down. I've never seen nor experienced that huge mph discrepancy. I saw under Liberty Francis comment you mentioned you can change the parameters on the GNSS. I did a comparison video on the module and app using both android and apple devices. Later found that Power Hobby module will work with the sky rc app. If you're using the power hobby app it does not work anymore. How did you set the parameters?

i prefere my garmin as well. i mean its nice to just watcxh ur phone for speed, but this sucks. also my garmin took some serious hits, the gnss cant take that. one went bad on us today in a crash the garmin was involved too, but the garmin still worked after.
