Try cracking open a few good books on the matter (and actually read them). These movie depictions are pure fantasy. Chinese who resisted were executed with little fanfare. Warfare is ugly and cruel. China will forever carry these traumas in its collective consciousness and - unfortunately - this will shape their relations with other countries for many generations and, in my opinion, only lead to war once again where many Chinese (along with many others involved) will perish.

I love this kind of Asian movies and TV. It reminds me of the 1960s American TV series. It was fun to watch. Today, we hate the unrealistic multicultural WOKE American Hollywood movies and TV. Today's WOKE made us vomit! 🤮

In real life this didn’t happen. Their imperialistic mindset earned them a few atomic bombs. I mean these folks sided with Nazis during the Second World War. I’m well aware that the country has long since abandoned that tyrannical way of governing and showed the world that change is possible. Long story short. Nothing honorable about that time period to include all countries involved in the war

@@dennissheckleburg9775 Naah, most Japanese military officers in WW2 probably weren't like that, but I wonder which rank the Japanese superior officer ordering his man to not kill the Chinese guy and continue the fight, was he a General or even a Colonel if not a Major ?? In anycase, he did looked like he was at least a commanding officer.... Yeah, the Japanese officers just left right when they lost that fight, without even a salute, not a form of respect if you ask me, more like sour losers... Their attitude more reminded me of when Jesse Owens won Track and Field right under Hitler''s own eyes against a hand picked German military officer back in 1936 in Berlin's Olympics, instead of shaking hands with him, he left right away... Trust me, it's no form of respect...
