They need adults to be consistent and this is only going to confuse them more. All children go through a phase of being a tomboy or wanting to play with dolls. It is a phase and you just ignore it, don't draw attention to it, and they move onto something else. It is not going to harm them to being more physical or wanting a caring role, every child has dressed up in dresses, combat trousers just for fun and quickly move on. What will harm them is to turn their whole life upside down by immediately making a fuss about their behaviour and treat it as a reality.

My daughter had a councilor (CAMHS) who did this and I went absolutely mental at them! It was the pronouns and almost reinforced this thought that had nothing to do with why she needed councilling! I stopped the sessions immediately and did the therapy myself (im a mental health nurse) and she's now absolutely fine and on the right path. This BS has to stop.

100% agree, I worked in a school for 18 years, and there has been a drasic decline in academic standards, and a huge rise in poilitical endoctrination.. they claim they have little ot no funds for basic educational equipment, yet find thousands to spend on lectures by outside woke 'speakers' to come in to talk to all the students and staff (the actually have the cheek to call it staff training!) when parents complain, the schools say it's on the curriculum… so a huge proportion of kids can just about read or string a sentence together, but they know everything about woke ideology, gender identity and how ‘evil’ men and all white people are… it’s uninformed, morally wrong and actually dangerous.

I don’t any teacher who does this … although I was forced to spend a days training on it. Tbh it was the final nail in the coffin for my teaching career of 33 years. Teachers teach what they’re told to teach, respond how they’re told to respond, by the owners of the academy trusts who in turn enforce the expectations of OFSTED who in turn expect to see the governments national curriculum. Is your average teacher qualified in tinkering with the mental health of children. It all seems especially inappropriate when the motivation is pushing one's own ideology, often own mental health issues, on little kids. Surely that's a job for fully qualified and accredited mental health professionals. Teachers are supposed to be teachers, not the child's psychologist nor parent. The police need to APPLY the law. Charge them with child abuse. So that the Judiciary puts a strike on record. Then when they do it again it's a second offence and the consequence escalates.
