I always loved this style of 3D CGI sprites in arcade games. It reminds me of playing Point Blank back in Timezone lock-in sessions when I was a kid.

Contra Evolution started off in the arcades and on older gen mobile phones. It has a rather weird history, where the original releases was intended to be in the arcades in China, where it went under the longer title of Contra Evolution Revolution. It was supposed to be out in 2010, and they did some location testing. Pre-smart phone mobile versions were also developed and released as a tie-in. But the arcade original got delayed to 2011, making the mobile versions the "original" release in 2010. Then came the iOS/Android versions in late 2012 - 2013 (which are the ones known worldwide), based on the earlier mobile editions; the early demos of the iOS/Android versions even have the original, full length title. In an odd coincidence, an American developer was working on a playable tech demo for a completely unrelated Contra game a few months before the earliest version of Evolution Revolution. It had the title of Contra: Evolution, just like the shorthand smart phone release, and was for XBox 360. Obviously, that never came out; the tech demo was found on an XBox hard drive and released online a few years ago.

I don't exactly understand your question, but I don't think it's possible to change the language in this game.

I don't know where I got it, but I have a rar file called "Full Screen Mode.rar". There are some folders in there which have .exe files with different resolutions, and I used 1440x1080. i.redd.it/9c6qtmusriaa1.jpg It is also possible you would have to set something like this to aspect ratio.
