Don't get me wrong this game was a blast and all, and maybe it was because of lack of storage space on the cartridge. But I feel there was so many more characters they could've added. Like Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Scrooge McDuck, Magica DeSpell, Gyro Gearloose, etc. Oh well, there's still the(very slim) possibility of a modern day remake of this game...

Disney should definitely do a remake of the game with more of the Mickey Mouse universe characters. You know, a bit like Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled did by adding additional racers from different Crash games. But I guess the chances are slim as Disney is currently more focused on Disney Speedstorm... 😔

I wasn't really planning on trying anything like that. I can't record good multiplayer footage, because the game isn't splitscreen.

Bring it back with online play but with some changes and few more tracks and few more Disney characters and a few more options for both offline and online multiplayer including voices change for the countdown’ laps and finish and change the laps 1 to 100 laps and free race with ai difficulty,number of laps and more importantly increased the frames somewhere between 720-1080 for experience of speed racing for Nintendo Switch only.

It's interesting that you decided not to do the unused arena and the two unused tracks: Greenwood Village and Mizar Race.

Have you been able to get those stages to load in multiplayer? While I have no doubts that there is a way to somehow play them in multiplayer, I had only been able to get them working in single player.

@arronmunroe I see. They must have reworked the DKR engine so that it is no longer possible to force load levels that are not designed for Multi-player.

I'll have to take another look at this. I had messed with the rom, and I think I didn't know how to turn it into a regular cheat. If I can't send a regular Gameshark code, I would have to make a .ips file or something like that.

I know for sure that I used the wrong method to get the music working in multiplayer, but I don't really know how to do it properly. Also, while I can't say this for sure, I think the audio getting messed up partway through a race might be an issue with the game itself. At least, Diddy Kong Racing seemed to have a problem like that.

@@arronmunroe from what i tested it works fine, the only issue is that the countdown sounds a little too loud and glitchy, and that it froze on one occation (but thats been happening on the normal rom for me on RMG for some alien reason so i don't really count it)

@@somari3490 I believe it is playing two countdowns at the same time, which is why it sounds wrong. I think that would be fixable, although it's not something I'm checking right away.
