@@kvin9210 Fun fact: this version was going to be in the arcades back in late 1996 when Namco plans to develop the cancelled System 33 board that has real-time (and less blocky) graphics in order to compete with Sega Model 3 hardware but was ended-up released in late 1997 on the System 23 hardware which just an upgraded version of the System 22 hardware that the first game ran on but with mouths now moving and now had texture filtering.

@@kvin9210 Johnny Nero Action Hero by ICE, similar to Time Crisis II but with some House of the Dead feel (shooting non-human/terrorist enemies into pieces and non-human/terrorist enemies slash both players), it has wacky comic book setting with three comics: Space Wars: After Earth is losen by the evil Terellian empire, the human race moved to the Federation destroyer with creating a pulsar cannon. Johnny Nero must put the Terellian empire to an end. Curse of the Mummy King: Johnny Nero at the meeting room telling one of the professors the Eye of Kings, the professor says the workers sees the curse is coming. Johnny then went to Egypt to find Ra's red jewel and stop undead mummies. Ghost Town: A Wild West village is under attack by undead zombies/ghosts, the town mayor tells Johnny Nero to clean up hostiles and receive cash. After shooting and before receiving cash from the mayor, Johnny sees a undead sheriff which revealed to be a demon in disguise.

Always wished I played this TC as often I did TC3 and 4. Rarely found a cabinet for them whenever I went to an arcade unfortunately. Although I will admit the less I remember about TC5 the better. Mainly with how they brought back Keith and Robert there.

I actually cannot believe that Namco was going to port this to the PS1 at some point 😂🤣. They made project titan instead for the ps1. Namco was unable to do it due to the processing power limitation in the ps1. Luckily it was ported to the PS2. And because of the delay, the PS2 version has enhanced and better graphics than the arcade cabinet. And not to forget, more modes and actual split screen if you had two PS2 consoles and 2 tvs. Also the best part is that you could unlock other weapons as well (integrated from the third game onwards). Unfortunately they dropped the split tv multiplayer feature from time Crisis 3 onwards for the console versions but it was understandable.

@@kvin9210 considering the context of his speech before he died I think he was just tired of the cycle that comes from being a member of the VSSE, similar to how Leon got tired of having all his effort just go down the drain with how often Bio-terror attacks happen in resident evil. He probably wanted to use the drug in TC5 to try and stop that Cycle by force. "There is more than just one right in the world!"

House Of The Dead 3 & 4 is the only one that has decent voice acting. 1 has slightly better voice acting than the horrid 2 voices. Time Crisis 5, the voices sound terrible especially Robert. House Of The Dead Scarlet Dawn voices were bad on purpose.

It's really not that difficult. Once you get the rhythm and timing, it'll be a cakewalk for you. It's all about balanced attack and reloading.

I'm not completely sure what you mean by Rescue Mission. If you mean the lightgun game on the Master System, I already played it. As for Time Crisis 3, the difficulty is quite a bit higher in that one, from what I've seen. However, the main problem is when I checked last time, I had even worse performance from the emulator than in this game, so it doesn't look like something I can do for now.

I used an emulator. It is possible to play lightgun games with a mouse, which is what I used here. It's even possible to play 2p with a second mouse, but the problem with that is unlike on MAME, you can't see where you're aiming with a second mouse.

I believe there were two problems preventing me from playing 2 player on this game. The biggest one is I can't see where the player is aiming when I use a second mouse on PS2 lightgun games. The other thing is I don't think my cpu can handle the two player mode, although I would need to double check that.

@@arronmunroe When I requested you Virtua Cop 3, it is actually playable on Xbox emulation, meaning that the Chihiro hardware is actually the Xbox. The most recommended option to emulate VC3 is the emulator CXBX Reloaded. I also recommend you can play VC3 with Mark.

Could you please post your settings you use with PCSX2? Mine runs a little slower and with a few black glitches..

I can't easily post all my settings here. I believe I used a version of PCSX2 from October 2019, but anything newer than that should be better. I'm pretty sure I used OpenGL for the graphics, rather than Direct3D. I didn't use HW hacks. The game is fairly cpu demanding, so I can't say for sure that it's possible for you to run it at full speed.

But one question remains: At the boss fight in second stage, when the boss is boarding the helictoper, I always get a sudden black glitch (sky and HUD..). Tried many options.. Software mode solves the problem, but you seem to use the hardware mode instead and don't have this problem, the video shows it. Do you know, what might cause the problem. Is it also the CPU?? Maybe an option somewhere to handle it?

There are a few problems with this one. First, my computer can't handle this particular game too well with a second player. This one barely works in single player for me, and there is at least one instance where you can still see it slow down even in this video. Another problem is that I need to use a second mouse to aim, but there is no crosshair when the controller is set as a lightgun. I have been able to get the crosshair to show up when using a lightgun on other PS2 games, but that is still something that I haven't yet figured out for this game.
