While I appreciate the fuck out of your determination and math. Your expertise in figuring out max distant and all of that. Which is what I was not expecting, but admittedly got sucked all the way in because of how awesome it is. Doesn't really help anything with explaining types of arrows. Which arrows are good to use. Such as snake arrow vs poison arrow. The fact that healing arrows are broken. Arrow damage comparisons. I'm doing this all myself in game but was of course hoping for a shortcut and thus far your videos are by far the best for Conan on KZbin, so thanks for the quality content. You deserve more subs and views.

Hey Oldcraig, bit of an old video but I used to watch your Wall and Foundation Stacking videos back in the day. I actually ended up making a Reddit Post explaining the damage out-put of Arrow Combos a couple years ago and it was really bizarre to hear that so many people didn't know how much damage you could squeeze out of them. I tested using the exact same method as in your video, nearly 4k per explosive arrow, could get you upto nearly 40k damage per Dragon Powder.

@@oldcraig it was actually the explosive splash video that I was watching! wild. also just comparing the charts, it seems like if someone has a built foundation with fence/cren off the ground, you're better off using a jar placed directly underneath it than using the arrow combos as long as it's less than 4 foundations off the ground. granted material cost comes in to play but in terms of speed that's the fastest way to break cren and climb in. but maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself and you'll cover it in the upcoming video series haha

@@KeatonWadzinski So I'll show this in the next vid, but if you are confident about where you want to penetrate a base, then you might just be better off using arrows. For 1 dragon powder you get 1 explosive which will do about 10k damage. But with 1 dragon powder you can get a stack of explosive arrows. The total damage dealt is actually greater than a single explosive (albiet less splash) for the same cost. So it's more cost effective, but risky because it takes longer to fire arrows, and if you penetrate the wrong location then you've gotta try someplace else.

Hey, I am a little late to the party. I love your videos. Just a quick heads up for future calculations. Gravity in video games isn't usually equal to normal gravity. Video games typically have increased gravity because if normal gravity is used, it feels slow to fall compared to the fast-paced nature of most games. Jumping animations look normal because video game characters are super strong, but everything falls faster than it would in real life. It didn't really play a part in this video. But just a thing to keep in mind. (Check out Game Theory. Especially theor Mario games. They don't cover Conan, but most of their videos have some sort of gravity calculation for different games. Maybe it'll give you a few ideas for how to come up with it, should you need it again. You may need to just approximate it using the mass of a normal person and timing a fall over a predetermined distance. But that's just an idea.)

@@jhdrawings1321 Just from experience, any type of heavy armor that you can afford to give them (I usually just grab random heavy armor from farming thralls). If they can be sniped from a distance it won't matter anyway. For sure give them sandstorm masks though. For arrows, give some of your archers snake arrows and give the others a cheap, high damage arrow like a serpent man arrow. You can't climb when you're poisoned and it'll force a raider to chug antidotes.

@@jhdrawings1321 They default to flint arrows. So if you want them to use something else, you'll need to supply them with it. They WILL run out of the arrows you give them. That's why something like serpentman arrows is a decent choice because they only require iron, feathers and branches to make.
