ARROW Panel w/Stephen Amell & Katie Cassidy - Fandemic Dead 2022

Arrow actors Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy gave a panel at Fandemic Dead 2022 to talk about the show, their careers, and to answer fan questions.
Stephen Amell played Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow, for 8 seasons until his character sacrificed himself during Crisis on Infinite Earths. He also played Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows. He also co-starred with his cousin Robby Amell in Code 8, which is getting a sequel. His latest series is called Heels, where he plays wrestler Jack Spade.
Katie Cassidy played Laurel Lance on Arrow, with both the Black Siren and Black Canary alter egos. She is also known for Melrose Place, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Harper’s Island, Supernatural and 7th Heaven.

@@GreenSirenCanary666 this is the main problem i had with the show. The immortal ship war between olicity and lauriver. sometimes it was hilarious, but other times it was toxic. lol. If only katie e-1 laurel was not so divisive. things could have been different. But overall a great show

@@GreenSirenCanary666 the toxic part of the Olicity fandom even made me stop liking the couple all together because they were given everything yet they whined about their precious couple not ending up together only in afterlife that messed with Oliver’s whole journey. His story started with him & his father and should’ve ended with them & Moira too and Tommy and Laurel. The loved ones he lost because of his mission. Cause he told Barry he was “at peace” yet he was alone for 20 years with his father & Laurel being alone in afterlife too.

It’s why I’m happy Kara didn’t end up like a part of a fanservice ship. Her ending was about Kara and being her true self. Then we can all dream up who she ended up with.

Spoilers Warning: Diggle in the last season 8 had found Green Lanter's ring but in season 8 The Flash refused to leave his family to become a Green Lanter. He no longer has the ring in his hands in season 8 of Flash because he is not ready. That answers the question but i hope one day will be a crossover with Green Lanter and Arrow played by David and Stephen. I know, Stephen wants to play Arrow again for a 9 season or some other type of format and Emily recently said if it would happen, she wouldn't be against it like they did with Veronica Mars
