Watch Fire Captain Luke Mitchell walk around one of Ventura City Fire Departments two Arrow XT Pumpers, which will be replacing some of their older apparatus. The TAK-4 Independent Front Suspension will provide easier steering and a smoother ride as their area has many sharp corners and steep hills. The department decided to switch from a generator to an inverter charger to allow for more storage space. Custom compartments within the apparatus allow the department to store as much as possible with greater efficiency.
