Thank you! How’s the artifact hunting in Arkansas? I would love to hunt that river sometime. I’ve been only once around Tulsa OK

Very good hunting throughout the state. I'm in a pretty good spot where I'm at.

That's a very nice Paleo stemmed lance!

Thank you! Wow, another vote for Paleo lance. Thank you for your input. Can I ask what makes you see that?

I have several stemmed lances from Ohio and they look exactly like that one. I also use Bob Converse's book "Ohio Flint Types." and it matched the paleo stemmed lance in that book. I know that Ohio is a long way from Texas, but some types span the whole continent, like Clovis. I also use Overstreet's books but did not see that type in Texas, so I'm probably wrong! @@curious_archeology

@@howardfreeland5595 Yes I agree that some types, mostly paleo can span the entire continent. Thanks for the info. I will look up Ohio early stemmed points and take a look! Your opinion is valued and appreciated!

Great find! Looks like an Angostura or perhaps an Early Stemmed Lanceolate. Late Paleo - killer find!

Thank you. It has some early stemmed characteristics. The flaking and outline shape. But it is not even slightly ground.

@@curious_archeology Maybe in a cave. But that would be a huge find or even a rolled up Teepee.
