Great video “Smokem” !!! You have much more patience than I did when I was artifact hunting!!! The very first one was a beautiful flint point about 2 feet deep in the wash area of a large farm. The “veterans” in the group said I was too deep and that’s just when I brought it up… what a thrill!!!! Nice touch thanking your dad and “the man upstairs”…. We got nothing without that! Yeah Brother, I’ve been trying to watch this for a few days and I didn’t know what to expect, I know when a lot of people find big blades like that it’s often like a big preform, when I seen that base i was even happier for you, I’ve never found a flint blade that big, couple of Quartz ones though, actually I sent 365 Headhunter a really big Quartz adena and now I’m realizing how rare it was, I’ll never find another one of those, I sent him quite a few killer points I’ll probably never find again, a little plaque of sweetness, I appreciate you introducing us to your grandma, she is a lovely woman and a heck of an artist,seems pretty sharp for 91 as well, did she ever find any points growing up there? Awesome finds. I have a big imagination and do not think a arrowheads main purpose was intended for hunting. Ive noticed that alot of earth has been dug and moved by them and alot of corn and things.planted. The most numerous areas of arrowheads are by cornfields. Hunting was only done when needed. The only thing i see they could have used to cut through the roots is a arrowhead and it looks like it could be used for making holes for seeds. Thats my opinion but either way is awesome
