I suggest you watch the alternate camera angles. You can clearly see Clark made no effort to brace his fall and, beyond that, turned his shoulder into the drive down into Allen.

Hey, I'm a Bills fan and for some reason this was in my recommended. I must say, Mahomes didnt seem like himself on Monday. Usually he has confidence that you can literally see on his face and he looked like a blank slate. Maybe I'm wrong, I dont see ALL of your games... but that really stood out to me, even before the game kinda got away from you there. Looks like these playoffs are going to be weird this season. The problem with the Chiefs and their coaching staff is that they are all stubborn and do not want to adjust. If a defense is giving you the short yards.....TAKE THEM. The Patriots and Brady used to do it all the time. All they needed to do is dunk and go. Short passes were there but Mahomes was always looking to go deep. And Mahomes needs to stop with all those awkward "SPECIAL" passes. They are not as exciting and defenses are expecting it. Mahomes just need to play ball.

Yes.. because you did commit the pens. Just because a team commits alot of pens doesn't mean there is some sort of conspiracy favoring the other team. With that being said, you are right in that this shouldn't be on the refs. We played like dogshit. Defense is as horrid as ever. Our offensive coaches insist on not finding the way to beat the high shell that teams are constantly using against us and refuse to make any sort of adjustment. We have had a turnover issue for 5 weeks and they keep saying 'we will work on it, fix it and get better", which now seems like horseshit. We absolutely deserved to get squashed and I'm happy we did. This way, maybe our players and coaches stop being complacent and arrogant and actually start to make an effort to improve. Also GG. Rooting for you against the chargers for no.1 seed.

Completely agree. I absolutely hate to admit it…but this does NOT look like a playoff team! Not sure what it will take to bounce back to the team of the last few seasons…but maybe they just need the wake-up-call of missing the playoffs…that and some roster moves on defence. Lastly…could not agree more the Chiefs “shield of invincibility has been broken”…in the way they view themselves, and the way the other teams view them. There’s no going back. I'm tired of watching Chiefs fans moan about the RTP penalty. Your issue is clearly with the RULE ITSELF, not the play that invoked it. As ruled, that hit on Allen was a LITERAL TEXTBOOK DEFINITION EXAMPLE of roughing the passer, at least the part about driving the QB into the ground. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the rule either, but you have to play by the rules as they are and not what you think is "right". As for how Mahomes played, he definitely looked (as the kids say) "shook". The Bills literally sent ZERO blitzes the entire game, the only team in the entire "Next Gen Stats era" to do so. Yet time and time again, the Bills managed to get in Mahomes' face just rushing 4 and leaving everyone else in coverage. He actually had plenty of opportunities to step up in the pocket, extend the play, etc, but as soon as a Bills edge rusher got into his peripheral vision he would panic and throw the ball too soon throwing off his timing with the receivers. The Bills were just the first to fully put the puzzle pieces together this season on how to shut down Mahomes (i.e. NOT BLITZING) and the rest of the league will try to emulate them. Buffalo's revamped D-line was just good enough to consistently get pressure while the elite DBs and athletic LBs covered behind them.

For most of the game BOTH QBs were about 50% completion rate. Both before and after the rain delay, there were throws into the dirt and way off for these two guys who have honestly the strongest 2 arms in the league. Were the winds crazy strong or something? Both the Ed Oliver and Frank Clark roughing the passer penalties were bad, where the tackling player was horizontal and looking down and could not possibly have known the ball was already thrown. Both negated 1st downs. Simply awful calls. There were a lot of bad calls all over the game.

I feel like the Chiefs bought their own hype after the super bowl from some people that the o-line was the only issue they had in the super bowl. Geoff Schwartz reported that people were telling him the rebuilt o line look great ( i am sure they told him that or he saw it) and they are not bad but did they look great cause how bad the d line was playing? i don't know how that goes in the NFL for training or practice? they seem to get bored by anything that is not a big play td pass on offense.

The NFL rulebook states that, and I'm paraphrasing, "the tackler shall not exert full body weight upon the passer while taking the passer to the turf". Look it up and rewatch the call in question. Was it a ticky tack call? Sure. Was it a "bad" call? The worst call ever? No. Not according to the rules.

I saw early on that #15 wasn’t very accurate. His passes weren’t where they needed him to put them. I’ve hoped and prayed that the Chiefs have burned out so quickly!
