Nice finds ,nice blunt also,the reason the base on the beveled point you found with Mike is so big is because it was resharpened heavily creating bevels.the base was never reduced. At any rate it's a nice find congrats John. 👏

Salut Reapers, I am glad you got out there, made a fun time of the excursion, did some quality finding! ....and then, I should know that there is something of a message to reflect on here.... particularly when anyone has a trying or sorted day; for not only is every artifact a window into our dimly lit if not forgotten past.... each an integral piece to the maker's existence! ALL artifacts, even those found broken, are extremely grateful to be picked up and brought home! ....so please consider this bit; I breathed a huge sigh of relief when my good Wifey decided to keep me after a short courting.... because, not only was I broke, I'm not really altogether there myself! Nice finds. I believe the blunt and the last point you showed is a san patrice variant. We don’t find 3 inch points in Louisiana either.

That's about the third one I've ever found. It's unusual most blunts I've seen are not curved like that. Heck I could call it a crescent blunt!! Lol thanks for watching my friend.

It's hard to know with it being reworked, but with the base that large I'm leaning towards a big sandy.
