I was kind of a bit bummed when I realized you can't spin jump off spikey enemies. It feels so fun to do in SMW. Wonder is still pretty fun though. I appreciate the difficulty of some of the courses.

The "new" invisible wall above the flag has always been there, only in mario maker it wasnt there, also u were only able to spin jump on spiky enemies in mario maker aswell.

Fun fact, this extra spin badge is not better to get the top of the flag pole. It is better to use the grappling vine badge and press the button when you were in the range of the top good fun fact

The crouch high jump is the exact height needed to get the top of the flagpole if you jump off the small brick base.

Jump into the item balloon to use it. Make sure you're not using an easy mode character that can't use items.

If you eat it before hitting a block you will get a better powerup. Instead of a mushroom you can get an elephant apple. Just a nice thing to remember so you always get the best powerups

It baffles me that some of the secrets in this game were hidden behind invisible blocks or false death pits with literally no indication whatsoever that there is something there. Like, it is established that jumping down a pit will kill you, and invisible blocks are literally just unfair and annoying to run into. Most of the game is really fun, but holy shit, some secrets are annoying as hell, as if you intentionally look for them, you will never find them.

Actually, death pits have a grey shade above them, so you can tell which pits contain secrets by if there isn't a shadow above it.
