Even if she did produce Milk, little Tibbin was taught no suckling from birth. If you watch the first few videos of his life. She pulled his head away or pulled them from his mouth. Then he became failure to thrive which I'm sure made her Milk production even worse. He only holds it in his mouth. I had hope since his brother made it through that he would too.

I came across interesting info on another possible cause for this baby’s failure to thrive. Endocannabinoid deficiency. The most abundant cannabinoid found in breast milk is called 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG). This endocannabinoid stimulates the same cell receptors that THC does. Even more interesting is that 2-AG appears to be critical in keeping newborns alive. It stimulates the suckling response and tongue muscles. CB1 receptors in the brain control these functions. Without these endocannabinoids, babies may develop a disease called “non-organic ability to thrive”. This condition occurs when a baby cannot consume enough food to sustain itself. There is more and more evidence that our decades long anti-drug “research” might in fact be wrong...

I think Tina is a much better mum than any of us have given her credit for. She allowed Tiny freedom to scavenge for himself because she knew he was strong enough to survive with less help from her...just like she knows Tibbin couldn't survive without her constant nurturing. Sadly, all the mothering in the world still might not be enough. It's certainly not Tina's fault that she's starving, herself, and doesn't have enough milk to fatten her babies. Damn! I wasn't going to let myself get attached to Tibbin like I did with Bobbin, but this little guy has tugged at my heart strings just as hard. I've always had a soft spot for the smallest and weakest babies.

It's strange the aunt seems to be well nourished and Tiny goes to her, Tiny of course is a professional scrap hunter and he looks well too. I wonder if there is something not right with Tina mentally which not only keeps her on the bottom in the group but if its causes her other issues. The way she treated Tibbin from birth was so harsh. Forcing your newborn not to feed so much. I am holding out hope for Tibbin but I think even Tiny had it better during his time as a baby. I really hope the very best for all of them.

If you go back to earlier and up to today, you will see each time the babies would try to nurses, she would jerk back. I’ve said this before, and I still believe that she has infection of her mammary glands. This could be keeping her skinny plus other symptoms of ill health. To bad she couldn’t have some antibiotics.

Poor Tina. She tries so hard. Tibbin is definitely struggling. He clearly nurses for comfort so her milk never gets replenished. Plus lack of nutrition, she's doubly crippled by circumstances. One sad thing about Tina is that when her babies start to forge on their own, which is usually a lot younger than other babies, if she sees them with food in their mouths, she will literally dig the food out of their mouths and eat it. Leaving them with nothing. No milk, no food. They learn to run from her when they have food in their mouths.

Will these monkeys share milk with babies other than their own? When Lori was unable to get milk because Amari was not producing enough milk, Lori went to the other Moms for milk. She too was small for her age.(in Cambodia) She is now thriving since the WLA took her and Amari. She is still small for her age but healthy. She still has some visual deficiencies due to her 3 head injuries but has been improving.

Tina his Mom, is a tough one. She wasn't good at feeding Tiny so he was small. When he was able to roam he would gather little scraps of food that she would sometimes take from his mouth for herself as well... but with help from feeders he made it. With this baby, Tibbin, he was taught from birth not to suckle. She pulled his head back or pulled teats from his mouth if he did. Which makes her Milk production even less. I had hope for him because his brother made it but I think Tibbin got even less than Tiny. Let's hold on to hope though, that Arroz will see them again in the future.

Mary Ranch - We all have our opinions and mine is I think some make it some do not, Tina being so low ranking (bottom) barely gets enough nutrients for herself and if she does not survive her offspring do not....I have seen multiple videos with her feeding and caring for Tibbin where many said what a "great mum she became" or wow she has been "a better mum than she was to Tiny" look at "her feed all the time". She is NOT a bad mum at all....there just may be more problems caused sooner by malnutrition that Tibbin unlike Tiny may not be able to overcome OR could even have an underlying medical issue we cannot see so it is all speculation but PLEASE do not blame Tina the mum as she is a product of her circumstance :( Have agood day. Oh these videos are a few weeks behind....sometime Arroz gives "hints" to upcoming event....just hope this is not so and as a family of low rankers, are TOUGH and if anyone will make it...well this little one will. Why dont you just take the baby and mom, you already interfere with nature enough by giving them food. You realize you are interfering with their gene pool and natural selection, Tina's baby is weak and not going to make it, naturally Tina gets shoved to the bottom of the pack and may die because of it. The troupe cant have Tina nursing a 2 year old infant essentially and slowing them down. If Tina was smart she would ditch the baby for her own survival. By giving her food you are interfering with natural selection. You should be fined for doing this I hope you know.
