Considering that these moms are in a perpetual state of nursing babies, which takes a lot out of them physically, they really are very tolerant. I can’t imagine they get a lot sleep, even of an evening because they have to watch out for the little ones whilst in the trees and that must be harder since it’s dark. yes hope she skips next year/next season, she may not have truly recovered from child birth yet. it takes a little bit to build red blood cells after loosing some due to complications, but I'm sure in couple more months she will look better, more energy.

Yes she kidnapped a baby a few weeks ago and wouldn't give it back..i think it was Spiffy then she went up to mom Bossy and she turned on her and Bolly let go of the baby straight away.. she knows she can get away with it because of her standing in the troop..poor Bessy and Benny..this is the first time I've seen Bessy without him so i don't think Bessy allowed Bolly to have the poor guy

I known I have said this before but I really appreciate being able to see the monkeys in a natural state. I understand the need for feeders and I love to see them getting fruit and vegetables. Your station is my favorite you follow the monkeys and have a great video history of these families. So thank you for sharing the reality of these monkeys. Other channels they torture and interfere with the Monkees to make people think that they are vicious animals. The fact of what they do if you really watch those channels they do torture those poor monkey. Bless you and your monkeys 💜🙏💜🕊️

I'm sure you'd agree- more like Bessy doing Bolly a favor, right? I think Bubby was trying to be a wing girl for Bessy, by grabbing at Benny during the 33 minute mark. Although- my heart (sort of) breaks for Bolly. Benny seems quite comfortable in her arms, too. I have seen Bolly just touch his foot in admiration and fiercely protect him when someone gets too close (well, thanks to your footage). She would have made a great Mum.

It must be so hard for those females every baby season seeing and not having their own..Shary broke my heart last week when Aggy allowed her a quick cuddle with lil Daffy and Lily let her groom Liliby for a bit..her face when she just reached out to gently touch her foot .you could see the longing in her eyes..the females are driven to reproduce and we take that choice from them for our own reasons..this land was theirs before ours..

Women macaques, like you said, are physiologically driven to reproduce. I do not live in Hong Kong, but I would think (in my unprofessional opinion), there must be a different way? I'm sure constantly feeding the monkeys does nothing but acerbate the population issue- so why not curtail all the feeders, like they do with Snow Monkeys in Japan? I know, apples and oranges, but it's just an example of finding a different way to control population, aside from capturing and sterilizing the females.

@@koisneurotypical yes i see what you mean..using nature as a natural way to stop breeding..then you get the batchelor group or moms and babies like Tiny and Teeny who would have both starved to death if not supplement fed last yr alone..they still get natural control..4 babies lost that we know of last yr..5 so far this yr..the one Arroz found on the rd..little Charlotte..Spotty's baby..Fioffi's baby..Tina's baby..so nature still has a hand in there too.. I just cannot agree with human intervention if we are not improving their lives..why should we decide their life pattern for them..as a woman who had 2 miscarriages and for medical reasons had to have an hysterectomy at 32 I get how it feels to have that choice taken away from you so maybe I'm not the right person to give my opinion as it will likely be biased in favour of the monkeys. .look what humans are doing to the Orangutans..we are killing them..the deforestation alone is killing them through starvation sending them into villages for food where the moms are killed for bushmeat and their babies sold on as pets!!.. then when they get too big to control either chained up or in a cage for the rest of their life.. Ggrrr .it just makes me angry that we as humans always think we are right and that becsuse they're animals it doesn't matter.. it just makes me so very sad..

With Bossy's girls you really can't tell sometimes if it's babysitting or kidnapping. They're very good at the later. Actually, they're all (sons and daughters) very good at bullying the others in the troop. Especially the younger of her kids. Bubby I think.

Love the babies but I have had my eye on that Cora. Her coat is beautiful and the tip of her tail gets dark brown. I can't get over how the monkey babies are so similar to human babies in the way they drink from the milk bar then pass out into the 'coma'. Then how they grab onto their feet and bring them to their little faces. It's just all to sweet.

Especially Dy, I just watched the video of her when she kidnapped poor little Spunky I think it was when she let go and gave her a little nudge and she fell down the steep Ridge. 😪😠 Dy was so mean to her when she was a baby... Poor Sally was so upset over that fall she took.☹😪😤😡😠🤬 That made me mad . Thank God she made it through her childhood with Dy picking on her all the time.
