Also have other palworld challenges and other games I think would be really fun :) Edit: well the video greatly outperformed my expectations. Depresso will continue but likely after the next video. I saw someone comment somewhere else that they clipped into the bathtub after they threw their depresso in there and apparently they not only float face down but have the biggest smile on their face. I dont know how accurate that is and why would devs programm something like that in thats never supposed to be seen but I still found it hilarious. Could you try to get footage?

Helpful tips for this challenge- - Have all of your Depresso's use fire and poison moves for boss fights. Burned and poisoned dmg is % based so it scales with enemy health. Both can be reapplied every 30 seconds. - Catch other pals for the 10 catch exp boosts, just don't use them. Exp gains from killing pals is way too low for the late game. And you can sell the pals later for money, which you are going to need lots of for this challenge. - If you head to the south of the volcano, to [-483, -749] you can find Fisherman Village. A merchant there will sell you prebuilt heat resistant pelt armor, fire crossbow, makeshift handgun, and their corresponding ammo. They are expensive, but you are going to want to be grinding dungeons and catching 10 of every pal, so you are going to have plenty of money to spend after selling everything to the merchants. Sell your extra pals to the black market; I'm pretty sure that you get more money that way, than if you sell to the legit pal traders. - After you get heat resistant pelt armor from the merchant in Fisherman Village, you can head to Duneshelter at [359, 348] A merchant there will sell you both heat and cold resistance pelt armor, as well as the musket and ammo. You'll need hot weather gear to get there, and you are going to need the cold weather gear for the snowy areas. Buy the cold and hot underwear to help boost your resistances. Everything is in the lvl30 range here, so be careful and stealthy, prioritizing grabbing teleporters as you go. Travel during the day, the desert freezes at nighttime. - In the latter boss fights, most of your damage will be DOT damage from burn and poison. Learn to dodge attacks and where to hide while regening your shield. The fights are going to be long with you dealing very little extra dmg on top of the DOTs. Remember to recall your pals as a way to have them dodge attacks. It is better than having them face tank, and healing damage makes them need more food. - You can get a Boss Depresso by recycling the boss spawns in lvl 13 dungeons. (Check Boss spawn, run back to previous room to force spawn change, head back to boss room and check, repeat until you get what you want.) Boss tames have better stats and more health. So, having one on your team will be good for tanking. Because you don't really have access to Essence condenser, Boss Depresso's will be the best that you can get. You can still up their stats by using pall souls though at the Anubis statues found in churches around the map. - While you can technically try breeding your Depresso's, as you should be able to farm and make everything but the cooking pot without ingots. It would be very time consuming. The cooking pot cost 15 ingots and cooking cakes for breeding by yourself, without a kindling pal, takes forever. Your time would be better spent on catching Boss Depresso and hoping for a good role on perks. Like Burly body, muclehead, and furious. - If you do manage to get some ingots after a long grind, prioritize getting a High-Quality Workbench. You can craft higher tiered pelt armors from the schematics that you will find in chests around the world and at the end of dungeons. Higher tiered pelt armors will give you more health and defense to better survive the later fights, and most importantly, they don't cost metal ingots to craft. So realistically, 15 ingots are the most that you have to farm for this challenge if you get good enough at surviving long fights. Hope this helps!

i've found that if you follow the left wall in dungeons you will almost always see all of the chambers before you get to the boss room and if you follow the right wall you will go straight to the boss room. i've also found that as long as you don't kill the boss you can run back and forth through the dungeon and not only will the wild pals respawn, allowing you to farm them, but the boss will also respawn as a different boss, allowing you to choose which boss you'd prefer to fight.

‘As long as you don’t kill the boss’ - yeah, I found that out to my detriment. I had just killed a dungeon boss when I got a phone call that I had to take. I came back to my game thinking I’d still be in the boss room, but I’d been kicked out to the spot outside the dungeon. I didn’t get to collect the boss chests. Turns out you only have ten minutes in the dungeon after you kill the boss before the whole thing despawns. I wish I’d known that before taking that phone call!

I actually had a bug happen where the boss currently spawned was a Killimari. I went to previous chamber to respawn the boss and found a Lucky Killimari. Caught the Lucky Killimari and went back to check the boss and it was gone, as if I'd beaten it. So, I'm assuming the game thought the Lucky was the boss somehow and assumed I'd defeated the dungeon. I tried respawning the room several times, and it stayed empty. Just an interesting and probably rarely encountered series of events, lol. 😂

Hey, Eevee, you are not the only one with the bug. I found a lucky Mau in the dungeon and there is no boss at the end. The boss barrier is open tho, so I loot the chests and leave.

Depression status, like every illness status, is permanent until you use medicine on each Pal to cure it. Each two different types of illness have a specific medicine that you use to cure it, I don't remember which one it is for depression. I'd be extremely surprised if you managed to do this. The later tower bosses are very rough on hard mode even for well-geared players and Depresso being an early Pal it has pretty terrible stats and a useless ability so even with the best skill fruits, souls and increased tiers it'll probably be quite the struggle to get enough DPS to beat the timer.

You can also if a pal get's knocked out, just put him into your base work force and another pal will carry them to a bed and they will recover in 1 minute, then just put him in your party again, saves 8 minutes the normal recovery would take *may need transport* to rescue a knocked out pal, never confirmed this

when id play survival games with friends. we would barter resources cause we would form groups and take over land, so each group pretty munch became rich in a certain resource of the land. eventually groups would start to gain more resources than others depending on who had the iron pretty much lol then would take out others bases or break into each others bases. the rules changed cause we would raid when others were offline, so we had to only raid bases when they are online to defend. i cant wait for this game to update more for these moments in palworld. i remember we dug under our friends base and placed tnt, and then covered it back up with dirt. this was on 7 days to die. eventually our friends tried to expand their base lmfao so they found all the tnt, which caused a lot of mistrust and all of the groups would stop trading with each other, and start stacking up on weapons for raiding lol it was great.

The reason it wouldn’t let you craft those arrows is cos it hadnt updated the inventory from a previous item you built you have to try a few less than max and it will usually work.

Which honestly based on the store page I thought the main story will be you as a shield hero type... But no just normal survival MMO stuff and it seem to be left open on how you defeat the bosses. Yeah, best place to farm xp is either the bosses on the field that have icons on the map. Or you can get your catch bonus up really high from strongholds if you keep releasing the pals and selling/dropping them. Might go against the spirit of the challenge to farm strongholds for the catch xp bonus, but it'd definitely be the easiest way out.

protips: *bosses in dungeons can be changed by going back a room or two and going back it can change the boss. *the depression and other base related status effects need meds to fix sometimes they may need more then one due to higher ranks of the condition. (for depression its the most costly one the needle iirc) *using the hang trap and a campfire you can kill the illegal merchant just make sure you hit them once to make sure they drop items you will get at least 10k gold and a golden key. set the trap facing their back and put it as close as possible. the campfire needs to be as close to where they are handing it may take a few tries, but once they are on fire hit them once with any attack, sit and wait. be careful if you try to use pals to make it faster as they can hit the trap (if freed they will not be agro but one stray attack and kiss your butt good bye lol)

Let's Games it Out found a trick where you can build infinite stairs and have the resources refunded to you and still give you exp for crafting something. Could definitely do that to grind some extra level if needed

on the beach of mount obssidian , there is a merchant that sells infinite ammo, and a makeshift handgun. Capture palls to sell , get the handgun (prefereably set a base there) , and it should make you dependency on ingots a bit less cripling.

i think part where some pals get "depressed" is a bug like i gave mine all luxarys and got up thier sanity and feed them but somehow some are still "depressed" i assume its bug of some sort.

Honestly, since you can teach any pals any moves, you could probably build up a really tough team of different movesets. Especially when you can start compressing multiple depressos down into each other. I say keep going xD

The most brutal part of this is probably the lack of XP. Palworld gives by far the most XP for catching ten of each pal. Fighting is a tiny fraction of that. I think if I did this challenge I'd either catch everything and just sell the Pals, or greatly increase XP gain with a mod. And I'd probably try to farm the Bushi boss for the legendary crossbow. It's a lot of ingots to make, but it's the best weapon with arrow ammo. Maybe teach Depresso some water moves with the fruit from the skill tree, if they can learn that, to farm Bushi for ingot drops. Crossbow is a great weapon all around, I carry one all the time just for hunting lower level pals or as a backup if I run out of bullets. And I got lucky enough to get the legendary one in one of my servers, I still actively use it as my main weapon even though I'm starting to use electricity in my base. I could make a single shot rifle if I wanted, but that's only like, twice the damage of this crossbow? And much more expensive ammo? Nah I'll keep the legendary crossbow until it fails me. Barely needs maintenance too, with how slow it fires. I don't think there's a legendary triple shot bow recipe out there for a weapon without ingots, but you can probably find at least a green or blue one in chests if you try.

7:33 Instead of them Depressos knowing how to cut trees, why not make an update where there is a training facility for the pals to learn new things, or improve on ones they already know? Such as a Foxspark knowing how to mine rocks, or a Lifmunk knowing how to gather better? Though some pals aren't meant to learn certain things, such as non-fire types MOSTLY not able to learn Kindling. Overall, it seems like a fun concept and idea ready to be made for them.

You can catch other pals and sell them to the traders. Unfortunately catchig pals is the quickest way to level up. As far as the Depressos getting depressed, you have to hive them high-grade medical supplies. Another thing you can do is... Wait.. never mind... I was gonna say feed them pancakes, but you need wheet and milk... And the pals that drop those iteas are like levels 18-23.

If you leave a boss room far enough and go back in during a dungeon you can respawn the boss making it change, you could keep doing that to farm some boss depressos :) That bonus HP on them could help a bit lol

As far as I know, you should not sleep on depressos active ability. Not only does it help them get in range for some moves and them moving around quickly has lead my depresso to accidentally dodging some attacks, if you have depresso in your team but you are in base their ability also seems to make them work faster. According to some people (honestly idk tho) it also increases attack speed.
