Nate Carr was probably the greatest American wrestler to never win an Olympic medal. But Fadzaev was just on another level, one of the most naturally talented wrestlers ever. He never wrestler competitively until age 16, he only worked out 3 months a yr. He didn't like doing conditioning yr round as most wrestlers do so he just didn't. The American way is the Gable way > train harder than everyone and do it year round. Fadzaev was literally the opposite > train as little as possible but win gold medals. And he won 2.

Nate Carr needed to learn that ankle high single leg like John Smith had.

Sorry dude, maybe you're right about college / folkstyle wrestling here in the U.S. but freestyle is a different game. This guy, along with Sergei Beloglasov (wrestled in the 80s) and B. Saitiev (90s and 2000s) are the best three technicians ever. Modern day included.
