If they cant get the world class players they need better scouting. Arsenal spent £50M on a CB and the only reason he has that price tag is because hes English. Im a celtic fan and Brentford took Ajer from us for £13M, hes won trophies, he plays international football, hes played in the champions league and europa league and can play multiple positions if needed. He would have been far more useful to Arsenal.

I would point out the example of Leicester and Aston Villa as teams that didn’t spend on superstars but succeed because of the vision and tactical abilities of their respective managers. Under Lampard Chelsea were much the same as Arsenal are now but became champions of Europe when a better manager came in. It’s not that Arsenal don’t have decent players but the current setup (manager/formation/tactics) isn’t getting the best out of them

Players are at fault too, you know. The bulk of Arteta's attacking scheme is to get the ball high up the pitch to the wing forwards. But then they pass it backwards. Did anyone try to run at Rudiger once today? It's like they work it work it work it and then OK Pepe's got it up nice and high isolated 1 v 1. And then he won't try to take a player on but will instead look to combine. Can't figure out why Pepe is so timid, so often ....

I mean it's quite easy to answer.... no Lukaku means Werner will play no Havertz means Ziyech will play no Christensen then either Chalobah or Silva will play no Kante... well we played 70 mins without Kante, and Kovavic did a good job on midfield It's not about Chelsea has their best players, while arsenal didn't... Chelsea didn’t have Pulisic, Kante wasn’t 100%, Chilwell still isn’t isn’t playing yet, Ziyech was not 100%, & Thiago Silva didn’t play who usually starts. Kante plays that entire game and he’s 100% and Arsenal would have looked even worse.

I agree with him that Arteta needs to pack his bags but I actually think the squad has improved. Ben White is a better center back than Mari and Holding together, there’s a reason he was called to play for England at the euros as a back up. Lokonga was labeled by Vincent Kompany as a star in the making and from what I’ve seen I believe it. Tavares is a good player, Odegaard is not bad, overall this isn’t a bad squad. We’re not gonna attract any better than this at the moment but at least it’s sustainable and for the future. That being said they need a manager to play under and we have a fool in charge.

This guy spoke the most HONEST truth from any fan cam. I'm a united fan and I see alot of delusion from Arsenal fans, delusion in the sense that they think they've bought well this summer. All players bought are players no one even heard of, now if you're telling me that the players you brought in now have improved Arsenal then something is wrong. I look at Arsenals summer transfer window and I don't care that they spent 130m, because none of those signings scare me as a opposition fan. All of those signings are signings you'd expect from Brighton and Burnley, Southampton, Norwich ect. They not names I'd look at and think ohhh yeah this is a big name who's going to Arsenal.
