Amazed at how the game actually HASN'T changed that much. Give current players the kind of boots the 1950 lot had to play in, and make them play on the kind of pitch the 1950 boys had to play on, and I doubt there would be too much difference in quality. In fitness of course, due to diet & conditioning progress, there'd be a massive gap - but as someone else said, that 2nd goal would be considered a beautiful move even today.
