Stats dont tell the whole story in terms of performance. For example, liverpool last season, harvetz was a stand out player. Went through on goal for the first one, missed but his ricochet got saka the goal. Got konate sent off. There were a fair few other games, where there wasn’t goals but his performances were there. But not easily for the casual fan to understand.

We had a 17 year old, our 4th choice CB, a CDM playing in right back, when Liverpool scored their equaliser, there is context to everything. Liverpool get nothing out of that game if Gabriel and Timber stay fit and the only points we’ve dropped this season before today was while playing with 10 men, Liverpool where coming into this game as the form team and they looked shit against a make shift back 4… but it’s still Arsenal that get all the critics, Bukayo Saka not even fully fit and he was by far the best attacker on the pitch, people need to stop overreacting it’s a long season 4 points off the top is nothing, Liverpool have been good but I don’t expect Slot to get it over the line in his first attempt, City look terrible since Rodri has been injured and if they were playing better opposition they would’ve dropped more points in them last 3.

There's no guarantee that, if the whistle didn't go, you still would've scored because the Liverpool players would've stayed switched on. Will never know but there's nothing controversial about that. The whistle went for a foul so nothing that happens after counts. You can't just keep playing after the whistle while the opposition stops and expect the goal to be given.

There were some good individual performances, and overall, as a team, we performed well, but this was a very frustrating result, given that we could've won that, and that's without the soft disallowed goal.
