Amazing video. Really unlucky with the injuries to Fabregas and RVP. Lack of investment really cost us. Our defense was abysmal. Fabregas with one of the all time great seasons. Was unplayable and carried us.

@@StokeyNGoon His total minutes played (2192) amounted to 24.35 games in the league that season. He literally averaged a goal or an assist every 78 minutes in the Prem. He would have been well on his way to hitting 20 goals + 20 assists & becoming only the second player to do so after Henry had he stayed injury free. His injury that ruled him out for the run in absolutey killed us that season. We were only 3 points off of the top with 5 games to go or something like that until we lost 3 of our last 5 games to well & truly extinguish any title hopes. Missed him big time.

Fabregas was truly immense for us that season. 15 goals & 13 assists in 27 league games. Could very well have have become only the second player after Henry to register 20+ goals & 20+ assists in a single Premier League Season if he'd managed to stay fit. I would argue that the ball he played for Arshavin's goal vs Liverpool at 13:57 should have been credited as an assist on the basis that Johnson's attempt to intercept the pass doesn't significantly alter the trajectory of the ball but it wasn't awarded as per the official Premier League's criteria for what constitutes an assist. He was only 22 years old as well throughout the entirety of that season while serving as club captain. The hype around this guy would be off the scale if he was coming through in today's game. A prodigy in the truest sense of the word.

and people claim toure was better than fabregas with his one season of 20 g and 9 a in 35 games if fabregas had played same amount in 09/10 season he would have matched his 20 goals and he would have also got close to 20 assists
