This is a signing for summer where both those defensive midfielders (who are both 31+ now) are out of contract. The rumours from everywhere are opposite, personal terms close to being agreed so that’s just wrong. Yes a striker is important for now but can’t ignore the other positions that need replacement

Zubimendi will be outstanding business by Arsenal. He clearly didn't deem moving to that north western dump in the summer as attractive for someone of ability, and has waited for a move to a suitable normal location and club. Those in the know will be well aware of his worth which is why he is sought after.
