Aggro definition: you get more value out of your hand by attacking with your cards than by blocking with them.

I would also add "and is not limited by action points". As like guardian might havr 2 attack they have resources for but no actiion point to use them

I think that the challenge with the current discourse on aggro decks is that all players have different preferences. When aggro is viable or powerful, people who don't like that playstyle complain relentlessly. In HVY, people who didn't like the numbers/value metagame complained relentlessly. Zen is too strong. The fact that he's immediately competitive in Living Legend proves that. But other powerful heroes had their day and were similarly complained about. I think Tariq's point about preferring them to "miss on the high side" is the right perspective to take. The Living Legend system will take care of Zen eventually, and until it does, the people that enjoy playing him have their day in the sun.

I think in flesh and blood it makes more sense talking about fighting game archetypes than classical card game ones. Instead of aggro, I think it makes more sense talking about rushdown characters, defined by not needing setup, having very strong offensive forcing the opponent to take a back foot and block out their damage, but also faltering when put in a defensive situation themselves. Not my idea, there are many videos exploring this
