while cyb is interesting at a higher competitive level, i think it's a detriment to casual armory players. i dont think it enables archetypes that are good for the game, so i wouldnt be surprised to see it gone next week

I think the reason to talk about Fate/Sink is that they're generic... there's a lot of class-specific DReact design space that is stifled because we have to avoid a critical mass of 4 blocks

THE CONCLUSION~ Thanks for re-uploading. I agree phantasmaclasm is way too broken. In fact, I think there are too many "look at your opponents hand and remove a card" effects in the game. For a game with only 4 card hands, that almost shouldnt be an effect, let a lone a 3 of.

@ Disruption is one thing, perfect information is another. They get to pluck that one blue, go again, or other important card from your hand and brick it without any counter play. They also know 3/4 of your hand. If I have full tempo any illusionist can pay a low payment of 3 pitch to often wreck my turn. Its an absolutely broken card. The slower games go and the less powerful the game becomes, the more impactful phantasmaclasm is.

Could we make an argument that System reset should be ban. This won’t affect other mechs while lowering the non interacting gameplay from I/O? Keeping in mind I/O deck is a resource high octane’s cost is much higher than any other draw cards. Sacrificing deck to push over damage is a gamble that only high level players can really take advantage of. IMO

IMO, Top 8 felt less interesting than day 1 and day 2 games, mostly because the CYB games are soo long if you can't present combo like DIO or viserai I dont think CYB is such an issue, but Enigma CYB is gonna restrict a lot of the game space in high level play, the dech has too little weaknesses

I get why people hate CYB. I don't particularly hate it, it is a dislike at most. CYB for better or worse is a skill check kind of deck. You can take proactive measures...or you can just beat them down so hard they are ineffective...to use a WoW reference, it is the Brutallis fight from Sun well plateau (gear check, can you put out enough damage to kill me)... I hate high octane. I disagree with people that it shouldn't be banned because it is "a class identity card". High octane worked in the past because the action points you accrued were translated into damage you paid for. With the ability to draw cards off of proc AND a free gun that can be fired up to 6 times (12 damage). It creates a density of damage that is well beyond what anyone can reasonably expect to deal with. Yes there are proactive strategies, but this combo is like an 80's hair metal solo of damage... When it starts, literally sit back and maybe get a drink....you aren't interacting for a bit.. maybe that is more what it is ... The damage is non interactive
