watching arsenal or barcelona on a weekly basis against other teams is beautiful enough and at many times breath taking but being blessed with this fixture for the champions league we shouldnt be watching and arguing over whose the better team and who has the better philosophy or who deserved to win or not but rather appreciating this artwork on show

God help us(Arsenal) inthe second leg. We rode our luck last night a bit and the fans played an important role. That was the most energetic crowd I have seen supporting us last night. We all knew we had 2 go for broke and play all our cards and we were fortunate to be still in the game late on until we sealed victory. It just amazes me how Barca manage to create chances at will against any team. Must be something in the Barca training ground

Arsenal and Barca are my two favourite teams in the world. They are both amazing to watch and both really do have great morals and spirit about them. The majority of Arsenal and Barcelona players are some of the most modest people in European football. And both teams can hardly be criticised along with the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Madrid for spending insane sums of money on players. Both teams focus on home grown talent. (Look at Wilshere, Messi, Pedro, Walcott, Fabregas, Pique etc...)

Arsenal fan here, over the moon that they won last night, but i wish other arsenal fans would stop saying that barca are shit etc, a fool would call them anything less than brilliant, imo the match was evenly contested last night, mabey a little in barca's favour,they dominated possession, but arsenal had more chances. The 2nd leg should be a brilliant match, arsenal will need to be better. So to all barca fans, the views of these guys arnt the views of all arsenal fans. Great game last night.

Also, I don't think we'll win at Nou Camp. Good thing is that we don't need to! We will have our best defender back, Sagna, which should help. Mikael Sylvestre won't be available for Messi to play 1-2s with so thats always a good thing. Don't forget this was nasri's 1st game in a month so he'll be more fit when we travel to Spain.

@soul1786 Honestly, I don't think this reflects anything significant. If he has scored a lot against English teams at Camp Nou, it's not convincing to say he sucks against them. Messi's dribbles this season can't be compared to those last season, but he has become unselfish and makes a lot of admirable passes, and one of them was an assist to David Villa at Emirates Stadium.

It'll be a tough game at Camp Nou. If Barcelona score one and hold Arsenal to 0 then they'll go through on Aggregate because of the away goal. Same with Arsenal though. If they can snag a 1-0 victory at Nou then they'll more then likely go through. Honestly though.. as much as I like Arsenal, I don't think they'll make it. I've never heard or seen of a team beating Barcelona twice in one season for the past couple of years.

The style Spain beat Germany in the World Cup semi-final - probably only their first good game in the tournament - was exactly Barcelona football, but, I'm afraid Spain fans were just glad that they did it this way. @soul1786 Sorry to say, unlike England, whose very best team in World Cup couldn't dribble and pass, there are many good Spanish players who can't get many caps. Fabregas and David Silva are world-class players but they often can't start for Spain. And look at De la Pena's clips here. You may be shocked that such an amazing players have got only 5 caps.
