I was one of the 2 mascots (for CUFC) at this match! I'm the one kicking the ball at 1:06!! Can't believe this has been posted.. well chuffed to see it again as I don't know where I've put the VHS recording...!

I was there... Remember on the coach home listening on my Walkman to the post-match phone-in on Capital Gold Sport. I remember some Arsenal fans saying it was difficult to get to the match because there were so many CUFC fans. But others saying it was CUFC's day, so they didn't mind too much. I remember hearing there were 12,000 Cambridge fans there that day! How will my 3 year old ever believe that without excellent uploads like this. Thanks ianseddon1976

A very decent Cambridge team who almost went straight up from the old 4th Division to the inaugural Premier League in successive seasons, finishing 5th in the old Div 2 before losing out to Leicester in the play-offs and with 2 successive FA Cup quarter final appearances along the way.

The most interesting thing about this video was the commentator's introduction. Eight of the Arsenal side had come up through the club's youth team. and the whole team were British. Now they are all foreign, Shame on football.
