To me it looked like Trossard was continuing play and not kicking the ball away. The whistle blew a fraction of a second before and, I would have thought, not enough time for him to change his inclination to continue with the ball. But I also hear that the yellow wasn't for kicking the ball away, but for aggressive play, which to me looks ridiculous.

Trossard's first yellow was for pulling a player back from behind and he repeats the same offense again by barging a player intentionally again and continues to play after the referee blows , so the ref sees repeat offences throughout the game and he continues to play. A red card all day long.

The ref. just killed the game. Arsenal was leading 2:1 and we had the momentum and tactically we were in a better position. Unfortunately the ref saw that and said to himself I will make 10 min the first half and second half 10 min extra time, it is actually 20min extra time+red ♦️ and definitely Man city will kill them 5:2 . It's sad that the ref is allowed to be too much involved. English ref are not good. Definitely I see they don't want Arsenal to win the EPL

Resident City players prove always they are at the top of this league . while the other team did not get any threat on City goal for 97 min, they played for 55 min with 9 defenders in the box doing defend only .They got two doubtful goals, with no offense play, one because of the referee was talking to Kyle W. and the other goal was a clear foul on ED GK .They did not have any shot on City's goal or any offence during the whole game.
