I think I was 13 when I first listened to this at the end of the first VHS of the series. There were no mp3 or music download services back then and I remember standing nera the TV with an audio recorder to capture my favourite themes on cassette. This is bringing back so many memories... Thanks!

I watched the anime when I was about 11 years old on VHS which I rented at a small Japanese convenience store in Maryland. This song always stuck with me and not until I graduated high school and visited Japan did I find out it was sung by the talented Mimori Yusa. Soooo Underated it hurts!

This song reminds me of long lost teen years ! I watched the movie ‟Record Of Arslan Wars” and ‟Silent Mobius” 22 years ago. The 1st. CD single that I bought is ‟Train Line of summer grass”. Therefore, I love Mimori's 1st. ~ 4th. albums. So, amazing !! この曲を聴くと、10代の頃を想い出します。 地元の映画館で上映されていた『アルスラーン戦記Ⅰ』と 『サイレント・メビウス』を観ました。 初めて買ったCD シングルは『靴跡の花』で、それ以来、 未森嬢のファンです。

From what I have read some time ago, this story is indeed on hold. It seems that I was just a bit younger when then the rest when I heard this song. Not sure how young' but those days bblockbuster's was big.

The novel series was finished in 2017, the 2012 manga adaptation I think is still going, but the animated remake (based on the manga adaptation) hasnt been renewed yet for season 3

The first OVA was really amazing and this song at the end of the credits was just fleeting. Thanks for sharing this song with the Translation. I always wanted to know what the lyrics were since its not included at the end of The Arslan DVD set that Central Park Media/U.S. Manga Corps released. ( Even though the OVA series with Age of Heroes wasn't complete its still a classic anime series I recommend people to check out. (Well technically it has an ending when you include Age of Heroes.) Especially the first OVA. The first few minutes alone of the story with the BGM really draws you into the characters. )

I'm confused, is Age of heroes an anime too, or is it the book series that the 1991 Arslan Senki ova was based on?

Hi @@dregoth22 thanks for the reply. They actually released Age of Heroes as an anime as well. Its actually a continuation that happens right after the events of the OVA. Its only 2 episodes, but it does bring the series to a somewhat conclusion ( there's even something at the end of the credits ) . They did however change a few names due to agreement reasons, nothing too substantial though. You can find this on DVD released by U.S. Manga Corps. Make sure its the one that has all 4 OVAs with Age of Heroes included as part of it. The other way they released it was on VHS. Hope this helps you out. Thanks for your time.

@@waltsoph3 I can't seem to find anything at all on an anime called "Age of Heroes", all I can find anywhere is that there were a total of 6 rpisodes of Arslan Senki (2 60 minute movies, and 4 30 minute episodes, which end at the escape of Arslan's father, and taking command of Arslan's army, commanding aarslan to go out and recruit 100,000 more troops, arslan's allies betraying the kind and aiding arslan)

The version of the series when released by Central Park Media/Manga Corps at the time the full title was called: The Heroic Legend of Arslan Age of Heroes However I do have some good news. I've found the final two episodes here: Ep5 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYqXm417gLSgnq8 Ep6 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zpm7Y3uojbGLf68 I notice though the Japanese version didn't call them this. It was just 5 and 6. If you have already seen these two episodes these were the two episodes that were called The Heroic Legend of Arslan Age of Heroes by the Central Park Media/Manga Corps when they released them in the states at that time. Sadly Central Park Media/Manga Corps is no longer around. I'll always be grateful to them since they brought us many titles that were on Sci-Fi Channel's Saturday Anime. Thanks to that program I went out and bought some of these titles since they didn't always do the whole series of a show. Hope this clears up some information. Thanks again for your time. ( P.S. Never seen the remake of Arslan though. But I did play the game that was on PS4. Game was pretty awesome since it was made by the same company that brought you the Dynasty Warriors series. :D )

tbo i use to think the same but afther watching it i find its a compleat story a sad one but complet. the movie ends , were just use to a good ending , there is no good ending just that he lived and stayed with his loved one imo.
