I have a 1974 fiberglass pop top and was wondering what kind of paint you guys used to paint it? I'm working on fiberglass repairs now. I'm just looking to buy the paint now to get it by the time I'm done.

i would( and have used) a marine paint "Interlux Brightside Polyurethane 4359 white". Its a amazing paint, foam roller and tip it off with a brush of your choice. its self leveling and comes out amazing!

I have painted Westy pop top[s with Rust Oleum, used a roller and it layed on nicely. Martin got some fancy marine paint and we used that on the 71 Westy build last summer.

@@vwlife-youtube thank you. I didn't know how much I would need so I ordered 2 quarts of Rust-Oleum primer and two of interlux off-white. I really want to do stuff right so I'm taking it slow and asking as many guys that I can that restore buses what the proper methods are for restoring a bus.
