Thank You for such an informative video. I remember (yep, I'm that old) the lingering "mysteriousness" of the Egyptian Art Deco influence lasting through the 50's. It took a long time for new styles to "catch-up" from New York to places out West. Love your videos; your effort really shows.

OK this is neat, what is really interesting is how many motifs and details are the same between the First Empire Napoleonic craze & this one. Stylistic differences sure but not as many as you might think
