Really appreciated this Nancy. In the classical music composition world there is finally some redress to the same difficulties. I would suggest some of the reason why it is beginning (only I would contend only just beginning) to get traction is because some publishing firms have seen this as a possible little gold mine, and I am cynical enough, though would happily be proved wrong, not about the works themselves. Likewise indigenous representation. It has been heartening of late that people like Briggs, Gurumul, and others (i.e. shorthand for lost a name) are making some waves, but oh so far to go. I really hope your video causes some waves that continue to grow.
