shouldn't the pot be sealed first before painting or does this paint have a sealant also in it?

Have been doing this for about a year now. I would highly recommend that you use a DecoArt varnish inside and out when finished. The clay pots absorb water, if not sealed will distort your beautiful art work.🕊

So I have to seal it before painting or after painting it with acrylic is just fine? I only have good quality satin varnish on hand that I use for my canvas. Would that work? Thanks!

Are your products waterproof and weather resistant? I live in Minnesota. We have wind and rain in the warmer seasons. I need something that will hold up to the climate.
