I am absolutely LOVING you and your channel and art April! Watching / listening to you try all these colorful art supplies just feels like I've found an absolute trove of wonder and delight. Yay for cotton paper. Etchr has ruined all other sketchbooks for me. Really loved this spread. Definitely, more detailed than usual but love the unexpected sneaky colours that add contrast and make it pop. I love all your work!!!!

Hahaaha see, I have the opposite problem when my partner looks at my work. I'll have lain down my flat colours and he'll come in and go "That's finished right?". He is a big fan of impressionism and colour blocking, so sometimes I put in too much detail for him. I do love this haul and spread though! I think the pinks and peaches bring a bit of warmth into the image which puts it more firmly into the early/mis autumn category for me :D

I used to have a large collection of Tombow brush pens when I was doing art journaling but I gave them all away. I wish I still had some-these look so lovely and I think I’d enjoy them. I’m going to Portland this week and planning a visit to the art supply store. I may have to put these pens on my shopping list!

I used to get Tombows to ease my Kettering fever but nowadays i also just use them in my sketchbook. Don’t stop using all the (bright) colours - we love you for it. And I’ve yet to start the Sarah van D. course I bought because of you 😅
