Nice game! Ecaz has a tech : Martial Perfectionism which allows you to build better armies: Can choose to pay +50% of the price to recruit units in +100% of the time, giving them +20% Health and Power permanently very good in times of peace! very good to use for knights and for units to be promoted as champion.

Great work Turin. Ecaz are fairly rewarding faction to play. I personally like Mesa and Sanya as my advisers. Mesa synergises really well with Sanya and the overall sanctuary Strat by reducing the time to construct monuments by 50%, allowing you to recover the authority when abandoning villages and giving you authority for every masterpieces in a neutral village. What you can then do is briefly occupy and control your sanctuaries, using the time to fill them with masterpieces and then abandon them. This will recoup the authority you spent to acquire them and leave the sanctuary full of monuments which generate constant gold (thanks to sanya) and authority (thanks to mesa).

Exactly, this way Ecaz gets almost unlimited authority. 40 authority production is not very hard to achieve.

Loving the Dune content. Though I'm dying everytime I see you ignore the status effects on the Landsraad motions in the top right, the +10 Landsraad Rating you get from giving a single vote to a motion dear to the Houses Minor really adds up over the game. Even if you're not playing politics, you get spice exchange rate bonuses at high LR rating.

Loving the Dune content recently! but PLEASE, Turin, re-read the insulated valleys tech. Keep the games coming!, Also try pressing X and Z to toggle air fields / missile turret radius.

5:54 I disagree with that assessment of being greedy being a weakness, and I think most champion RTS players over time would agree, that the optimal way to play an RTS is exactly as greedy as you can physically get away with. Honestly, you kinda inspire me with your playstyle in RTS games

Been loving the Dune videos man! Made me buy the game the other day and I am really enjoying it. Would you ever think about making a guide/ video explaining the economic and tech tree development with this game? This is one of the things I am really struggling with atm. And tbh, the tutorials in the game don't really do a decent job explaining it in depth either :/

I dont understand how the "surrounded" condition for sanctuaries works. I had a sanctuary with Just one of my regions above and one under and 2 neutrals to the sides. And then I had a Region surrounded by 3 and map Edge but IT didnt get sanctuary

The region that becomes sanctuary needs to be surrounded by your villages as in all borders need to touch your territories OR nonbuildable territories, aka deep desert, mountainous regions or map edge. Just look at the borders of the region you want to make a sanctuary.

Champion hege gains come only from other players units not neutrals. You CAN farm their militia if you can get away with it though!
