What a lovely journal! Thank you for sharing this with us. I have just become a new sub to your channel. I'm a recent Instagram user (I am 58 and a social media dinosaur! LOL) and I saw so many of your posts that just touched and inspired me enormously. My condolences for your losses. I am a widow after a 30 year marriage and I get it. I had put all of my paints and tools away and asked my friends to sell or donate them as I didn't want to create any longer. Right after I lost my husband, I lost the sight in my left eye. So it has been a challenging time for me. When the pandemic hit, I realized that art would save me. My friends (angels!) brought all of my art supplies back to me as they'd known somehow that I would return to painting. Such a huge blessing! Your art touches me deeply and I am so grateful to you and other artists on YT for sharing your talent with all of us. It has truly saved me. Thank you from my heart. Love and Bless xoxo

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm so sorry for your loss. How difficult the past few years have been for you. I'm so glad you were able to return to and find solace in your artwork. It really has been a lifesaver for me. And the artistic community I have found on Instagram and online courses has been remarkable. It's such a special community of support. Have you joined any online classes? I'm not trying to push anything but that was really beneficial to me from the perspective of engaging in a community of like-minded people, as well as learning a lot.

I just love your art, your style, your take on things. I was looking for the instagram of how you put together the structure of this journal, but couldn't find it. Could you point me in the right direction? Also, did you (and if so how) prep the pages before working on them? Thank you!!! Cathy

I just added a link in the description box to the short I made of the journal before decorating it. It is not an instructional video but might give you some ideas of how it's put together. I didn't really prep the pages. Most were covered in painted papers or I painted directly upon the surface. Some were matte finish which took paint a little more easily than the gloss pages. Those I mostly just covered with painted papers.
