I'm binge watching your videos and the main thing I've noticed is that you are a fantastic teacher!! I love how you use your homemade sprays etc and not just the expensive materials. I'm on a limited income being unable to work because I have chronic illnesses and you make art journaling accessible to me by showing how to make your own materials. Every video I've watched so far has really inspired me, your work is really beautiful ❤ I know you'll probably get bored of me commenting on every video, but I'm catching up as I've only just found you! You've really inspired me to finally give art journaling a go and to stop being afraid of the white page. My best subject at school was art, I studied designing, pattern cutting and tailoring at college and I do various different crafts, crochet, jewellery making, papercrafts etc etc. I have plenty of supplies to use and so I can start straight away. I have thought of collating with colored paper towels, but never did it, so I very much enjoyed watching your video. Now I want to make a quilt using this process-a quilted wall hanging. I also like collaging fabric without a detailed plan I call this fabric improvisation. Stitching afterward could also be improvisational. Fun!! I also liked your line work. I think two-ply paper towels can easily be separated after spraying with color after they dry.

The paper towels turned out gorgeous. I guess it depends on what brand you use. I can get the two ply apart. It did look like a hot mess but as soon as you started with the gold paint the page came alive. Great idea and you should frame and hang it. Again, thanks for sharing.

I’m seldom able to keep paper towels from cleaning during projects, because I tend to get glue on it, finger marks,...just not conducive, so I like to do, what you name done here. I use my sprays and make nice ones. This looked like fun to do and it was so simple, compared to other pages you nabe done, and it turned out nicely. You are fun to watch and I get so many ideas watching you. Thank heavens for KZbin, ‘else I wouldn’t have gained all I have from your videos. If hubby and I ever make it to your neck of the woods, I will check and see if we may get together. I believe, it would be fun meeting one another.
