I went to MoMA whenever I had the chance during the hours of my lunch break and continued doing that for couple of decades when I used to work not to far from it. I love MOMA. I live in NYC but I never go there. I feel like I'm in an amusement park, a cluster f*k of people everywhere. I can't breathe. Art requires slow contemplation. My favorite modern art museums in the U.S. are MOCA, in Los Angeles and the DeMenil Foundation in Houston. Both are human scale. They are full of light, air, and are glorious temples of emptiness.
