This original ending that SNK gave to the game was a bad cliffhanger. The new ending added to the SNES version was very good and the ending song is one of the best ever.

the sega genesis version is badly done, the only thing that they did right, is the Background music that is close to the Arcade. but I prefer the Snes version that is better, I play it a lot on my android tablet. everybody disliked Art of Fighting (arcade ) when it was released, it doesn't use the same mechanics as Street Fighter: roundhouse kick and foot sweep to cause your opponent to fall, and uppercut, high kick, back roundhouse kick, Shoryuken, Tigger uppercat or somersault to counter aerial attacks. apart from that, the limited number of playable characters in story mode and the poor game controls discouraged many people back in the 90s. but several years later, in the late 90s, I was lucky to see a guy playing that game like an expert, it was in a bar. I came back later, inserted my coin, and played exactly like this guy, and, oh boy ! for the first time I beat the computer, for the first time I loved this game. Art of fighting 1 game is a must-have for any SNK fan and particularly kyokugen karate, but you need to have the good versions ( SNES/super famicom and the arcade version )

If you mean desperates move here the move codes : ⬇️↘️➡️ then A,X ( controller mode type D in option menu) PS : your bar life must be 25% and 100% power spirit

@inmin78 Art of Fighting's story ends with a cliff-hanger; Yuri Sakazaki is about to disclose the true identity of Mr. Karate as their father Takuma Sakazaki. The revelation that Mr. Karate was indeed Takuma was not in the original Art of Fighting ending (except for the Super Nintendo port of the game, where it was clearly shown). It was officially confirmed during the introduction of Art of Fighting 2, when Takuma was formally introduced.
