To me , the whole image of 2 muscular men in shapely fitted armour is a huge turn on . simple movements that show how fit these men had to be to wear such plate metal sculpted to them. I always found it a pity that they couldnt be fully encased head to toe .

I notice that with other weapons, the knights almost always clinch, takedown and end up on the ground with daggers into the slits of the armors. But with poleaxe, the fights seems to end still at distance - in reality, historically, how did these poleaxe vs poleaxe fights end? Concussion? Spear head into the eyes? I'm curious - thank you.

I used a dagger and my opponent steals it two times. Than I throw the dagger away. When there is no dagger, you can't use it 😅

​@@mailmikekangIt doesnt, people just instinctively never get close when they fight with halberds and poleaxes. I mean, keeping the fight faraway is alot safer than getting closer and risk getting hit

Es ist echt nicht so scherzhaft wie die Stahlschwerter, da die Stangen und die Gummisimulatoren nachgeben. Wumms hat es aber hunter sich und ohne die guten Rüstungen empfehle ich das keinem!

Looks like the left fighter won the fight at 0:40 by attacking the left hamstring of his opponent. Game over.

He cuts my hand first, so he takes the first blood. But you are right with sharp axes the duel would be nearly over after cutting his leg behind the armor. But we were only trying, it was my first duel with this weapon, so I was experimenting with heavy blows. The later videos to poleaxes are better!

And me. I am what I am. I know what Im doing with longswords and daneaxes. It was my first poleaxefight ever. But I don't think it was a bad example for experienced duels!
