I love how there’s not much crazy music used in this film, very relaxing to watch 😌

'Art should be for everyone' Agreed. So why does the Tate only pander to a tiny minority of urban hipster elitists?
@UlrichLudat5 ай бұрын
Why should art be for EVERYONE? Or to put it the other way round: is art really so important that EVERYONE needs it? Despite all the questions, the question of all questions remains: What IS art? An attempt at an answer: a human practice ... like brushing your teeth; nothing special, in other words. This applies first and foremost to my so-called "art"; perhaps also to that of (all) others.

Well you answered your question by asking whether brushing your teeth is for everyone. 😂

I think every human has the ability or even the need to form aesthetic judgements. Art is a way to interact with that ability or need. There are other ways: nature, or human behaviour . But it is nice to have this way for everyone as well.

@@jeroenrl1438 In my opinion, art is created in the interaction between the creative spirit and the recipients. Any artifacts must first prove themselves as such within the framework of this dynamic process. Until this process is set in motion, there is absolutely nothing, especially no art. EVERYONE can participate in the aforementioned discourse in their own way; but not EVERYONE is capable of creating aesthetic objects that can later actually assert themselves as works of art. So things are by no means as simple as you imagine them to be.
