Thanks, I became an A.T. quite late in life but as a drummer, I've really come to like his playing. Tight, clean and very creative. Most of his best years were spent in Europe which is probably why he didn't get more visibility than he did.

He was well known in New York and on lots of recordings during the 1950's. When he left for Europe around 1962-63 his visibility in the U.S. diminished, but it increased throughout Europe and Japan. He even worked as a model in Paris France for a while.

Man check out the Time changes art performs these seamlessly from one tempo to another without any hiccups just tremendous I was Playing along on my Recording Custom set and to my credit I played his tempos flawlessly according to my Bassist and Piano player now if our saxophonist can play this tempo Were in heaven
