Hey guys! I'm back at you with a brand new batch of ideas for fun and easy art and craft things that you can do when bored at home using cheap, easily accessible art supplies. I hope you guys enjoy the video and get some ideas for things to do when you are bored!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 26 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. Moriah, i really hope you see this comment. I saw this video, as soon as it came out. But im commenting 1 year later because, this video, where you make the Tassel Keychains, it inspired me to start a little mediocre business. Where i would sell my tassels to family and friends. But just a few months ago, things at home have become a little financially difficult, so my little mediocre business somehow turned into an Etsy store. You can also put the beads in a shallow box, lid or something with sides and roll them all around at the same time by tilting the canvas board around! Might be less controlled but still lots of fun! and its a good option for people with sensory needs and don't want to touch the paint.

I survived a huge trauma around one year ago on a Friday, for a while the day of the week itself made me feel really upset, but knowing Moriah uploads on Friday’s has really changed the association I have to it. Ok so for the clay that dried out, you just need to revive it with water. It works better for air dry clay, but it still works for foamy clay. Just mix it with water until the clumps squish into pieces, and repeat. As for air dry clay, just add water until it becomes soft. Also for the beads (both of them) I would turn them into earrings. For example, I would add a jump ring to the bead, and glue a thump tack to the jump ring, to make it an earring. And for the tassel, I would also turn those into earrings. I would also turn the cupcakes into keychains.

Just a idea for the beads one: you could grab a canvas and put tape around it (in a way that kinda creates a lip over the canvas so it you have little walls!) drop the beads and just move the canvas side to side until it’s all covered! (Also use a bit less paint to avoid the extra paint problem) and ta-da! You got beautiful beads and possibly a beautiful painted canvas!

Hey everyone! So quick tip since I've been making clay cupcakes for a while now instead of just adding clay into the piping bag for the frosting add some water into the clay to make it more of a frosting consistency. Glue works too! Doing this makes it easier to pipe out and just looks better in general.

here’s just a tip i’ve used in the past that seriously helps with dry time; instead of using a hunk of clay, cut out a piece of thick styrofoam and then wrap the clay around it and shape it!! it dries so fast!! and if you’re baking, hollow out the inside with tin foil and once it’s cooked, shove the styrofoam and glue the cooked bottom. not as secure as air dry, but still good!! also love your videos they brighten my day sm ❤️

Hey! I’ve got something similar to the ball thing! Here’s the steps: 1. Get a canvas and and put it in a cardboard box 2. Get liquids paints and marbles. 3. Pour your liquid paints in the middle (ps, don’t spread it out just a small-medium drop in the middle) 4. Place marbles in the box and turn it and tilt it, the marbles with drawn on the canvas using the paint. Hope you do this, the results are pretty and you can hang them on your wall, or just put it somewhere!

if you take a shallow box (like a cut open cereal box lengthvise), place a paper inside (make sure the opening side is taped up) and only put small pools of paint on the paper you can sway the beads around, covering them in paint and get nice art out of it as well. (also works with a lid of a puzzle box)

I am going through a bead phase too.... suggestion: so you know perler beads, the ones that you put onto a little board to make a design then you iron them to melt them together? you should definitely try them! they are so fun, and you could do your characters

Hi Moriah! I just want to say that I've been watching your channel for a long time and I really love your content! You inspired me to try more art forms outside of my comfort zone, including these. I tried making these tassels and now I make them for my custom bookmarks. I found that you can make multi colored tassels, just grab the ends of all the colors you want to use and wind them around your hand all together instead of individually. Keep in mind this tends to work better with a smaller amount of colors. Good luck! ❤

Here’s one of the things I love about this series, and really about Moriah in general. She started this series in March of 2020. We ALL know why there was more potential for people to be bored, and it was probably a very strategic business decision for moriah to start a series like this at that point. But she’s never explicitly said that. She never drags the negative sad things into her videos. No matter what’s going on in the world, this channel is always positive and fun. I’ve always appreciated that I can escape the rest of the internet when it gets boring and sad, and come here where our biggest problems are incomplete rainbows and bad sprinkle spacing. It’s like a creative, rainbow oasis. Thank you, Moriah.
